The former Twilight star proposed to his girlfriend of three years, Tay, in a candle-lit surprise last November and often shares loved-up snaps of the two of them together. Most recently, the pair posted a joint Instagram Reel to show off their lavish Californian engagement party, complete with afternoon tea, balloons and an almighty spread of sweet treats. Taylor and Tay used Mariah Carey’s song Fantasy as the soundtrack, which fit the brightly-coloured video perfectly. At the start of the clip, the twin Taylor’s are filmed embracing as they smile for the camera, before they share a smiling kiss.

Taylor, 29, is wearing a funky blue shirt with pink waves and blue palm trees, while 24 year old nurse Tay glowed in a white dress with a thigh-high split. She accessorised with gold necklaces, a delicate bracelet and, of course, her engagement ring.

The Reel compilation cuts to a quick snap of the sunny outdoors with a white table and sign that reads: “Love is patient love is kind”, alongside a vase of white flowers. Inside, themed chocolate-covered biscuits shaped like a ring and champagne flutes complemented a table laden with a cheese and fruit platter, bitesize sandwiches and an impressive arrangement of mini muffins and cakes.

Definitely a sweet, sweet fantasy because our mouths are watering at all of those baked goods. There was also a yummy buffet of something (ahem, we can’t quite figure out what we’re looking at… but it sure looked good!) available for guests to enjoy. Elsewhere, a large green, white and golden balloon archway tied the colour scheme together, which is where Taylor and Tay shared a sweet kiss for the camera. Tay was also filmed opening a large lemon-wrapped gift box while Taylor pulled funny faces in the background, playing with a cut-out of an engagement ring.

Taylor’s sister Makena Moore gushed over her future sister-in-law in the comments, writing: “Going to be the most stunning bride!!” Patrick Schwarzeneggar commented: “LOVE YALL”, while designer Jeff Leatham wrote: “Cute !!!” I mean, he’s not wrong. Everything about the video compilation looked positively lovely… did we mention the cakes and blue California skies?
