The Strictly Come Dancing professionals have been together for over 15 years and their relationship is still as strong as ever. The energetic spouses have been entertaining us on the BBC show for years, but as Aljaz embarks on yet another year as a dancing coach and professional partner this season, Janette decided to leave. Luckily, the gorgeous brunette hasn’t left the Strictly family, but has swapped her dancing shoes for the autocue as she’s the new co-host of Strictly’s spin-off show, It Takes Two. Teaming up with Rylan Clark-Neal, the 37 year old will still be on our screens on a weekly basis as she pursues her presenting passions.

Back in October 2020, Janette posted a gorgeous snap of herself and Aljaz in stylish outfits, dancing for Strictly’s Musicals Special. She penned: “So much fun to get dressed up and dance at home! Hope that you all enjoyed it!” And in the snap we see a glamorous space featuring wooden floors and a charming unit on which sits various ornaments and indoor plants.

Moving through to the kitchen, the couple share a very sleek space with modern, glossy white cabinets spanning the walls. Various state-of-the-art kitchen appliances can be seen sitting in view too, and Janette beamed at the camera as she promoted a cookbook while standing at the island. In the bedroom, the couple’s bed looks as cosy as ever and the perfect place to stock up on sleep after long days rehearsing for Strictly.

Another perfect feature for relaxation inside the couple’s home is their sunken bath tub which sits in a very modern room. The bathroom also features candles, to make a bubble bath that extra bit more zen, as well as quirky white wallpaper. The dancing stars have kitted out their home with adorable little items, personal to them, including Minnie and Mickey Mouse mugs.

There’s also a photo of Audrey Hepburn sitting on the table and an inspirational slogan print which reads: “All our dreams can come true if we have the courage to pursue them,” by Walt Disney. Sweet pair Janette and Aljaz didn’t meet on Strictly but in a dance studio in London, Janette once revealed during an interview with the BBC. The pair announced their engagement in 2015, with Aljaz proposing in the studio they first met in five years previously. The couple tied the knot in July 2017, and Janette wore a stunning white strapless wedding dress. Invited along were celebrity guests, including Louise Redknapp, and Strictly stars Karen Clifton, Natalie Lowe and Katya Jones.
