Privacy Notice She may be putting her dance moves to the test on the latest series of Strictly Come Dancing, but away from the ballroom, comedian Ellie Taylor can be found relaxing at her lavish London home. 38 year old Ellie, who is known for presenting The Great Pottery Throw Down, lives in her stunning home with her husband Phil Black and their three year old daughter Valentina. The Strictly star regularly gives fans a glimpse inside the property on Instagram by sharing snaps of her family home’s colourful interiors. In various photos shared with her 174,000 Instagram followers, the Ted Lasso actress can be seen posing in front of a huge mirror which is positioned in her sprawling hallway.

In the background, fans are able to catch a glimpse of Ellie’s chic taste in interiors as the hallway boasts fresh white walls with panel detailing. The room also boasts a stunning parquet floor and is decorated with a grey console table which features a series of artwork and green leafy plants. Elsewhere, the home has an enviable open plan living and kitchen area which is decorated with similar panelled walls, that are painted in a sophisticated light grey and sage green colour scheme.

In one picture, Ellie could be seen working from home at her kitchen island, inadvertently giving a peek inside her WFM set up. In one corner of the living space, a tan corner sofa is positioned on a white tassel rug in front of a pair of French doors. Meanwhile, the family’s dining area is on the other side of the sofa and features a large grey and ash coloured table as well as a series of Scandinavian style dining chairs. To add some personality and colour into the space, the table is decorated with a bouquet of tulips and a large desk floor lamp can be seen perched behind the area.

In another picture shared to her Instagram, doting mum Ellie took a mirror selfie while holding her little daughter and showed off a different room in her lush pad. The room boasts a series of black and white photographs, graphic prints, decorative vases and a large TV hung on the wall. And sticking to this more bold theme, Valentina’s play room features a series of quirky prints, a rainbow rug and a mustard coloured armchair. Prior to the latest series of Strictly Come Dancing starting, Ellie was the ninth celebrity to be announced after sharing the news on Lorraine with presenter Ranvir Singh.

Speaking ahead of her debut, Ellie shared that she isn’t the most confident dancer and that her mum burst into tears when she heard the news. “Well, cover me in fake tan and roll me in sequins! I’m absolutely over the moon to be a part of Strictly 2022!,” she told the BBC. “I’ve watched the show for years so to be able to take to the dance floor is a dream come true, for both me and mum who is a Strictly super fan! At the moment I’m focusing on the excitement and glitter and choosing to ignore the fact that I have the dancing ability of a newly born giraffe. Bring it on!” Other stars on this year’s line-up include Will Mellor, Kym Marsh and fellow comedian Jayde Adams.
