Privacy Notice With its shock new couples and divisive pairings, it’s safe to say that Married At First Sight UK viewers have been in for a treat this series when it comes to the show’s endless supply of drama. And one contestant who has experienced their fair share of drama on the show is Sophie Brown, who married Jonathan Wileman without ever meeting him first. During Wednesday’s episode, Sophie was criticised by fellow contestant Thomas Hartley after she suggested that he and Adrian had a friendship rather than a romance. As a result, the pair embarked on an explosive row which caused Thomas to publicly apologise to 26 year old Sophie after he received criticism from fans.

But while Sophie may have found herself at the centre of much attention while on Married At First Sight, away from our screens the tech employee lives a quieter life in Manchester. After dropping out of uni when she was 18 and moving to Manchester on a whim three years later, it’s clear that the TV personality has made the city her home and regularly gives fans a glimpse inside her abode on Instagram. Judging by various snaps posted to social media, Sophie’s home has a sophisticated feel and is filled with lots of statement wall art, grey tones and bright white walls.

In one photograph taken before heading to a fancy event, the Married At First Sight star posed in one of the room’s of her property and gave a peek at her chic sense of interiors. As she showed off her sensational plunge neck black dress, Sophie stood in front of a bright white wall which features several black and white photographs in large black frames. Meanwhile, to one side of the star, a large green leafy plant can be seen contrasting against the monochrome colours, indicating Sophie’s taste for modern yet fresh design.

Elsewhere, a sitting room area of her home features a similar monochrome colour scheme and boasts a large grey fabric sofa which is decorated with a mixture of charcoal and dove grey cushions. The area also features dark wooden floors as well as a glossy black cabinet which features a series of ornaments, photos and cards, giving the space a personal touch. Sophie, who was supported by fans after Jonathan discussed his views on women working out at the gym, has given her 46,000 Instagram followers a peek inside her bedroom, too.
