Verity made the announcement on Instagram, delighting fans as she showed off her baby bump in a photo of herself stood in a body of water wearing a red polkadot swimsuit. She captioned the post: “Preggers. It hasn’t been an easy journey; so aware it isn’t for so many people. “New humans, worra thing eh? Photo taken by the v talented @lovetocraftmcr.”

The gorgeous Coronation Street star is already mum to a son named Cassius, and she lives with the adorable tot and her partner Adam Lawson in a stunning home. Verity shares the occasional peek inside the abode on her Instagram account, where she details in her bio that she’s a “mam, actor, Cumbrian, cook.”

Inside the home, there’s a gorgeous teepee which looks like the perfect spot for little Cassius to play. The lounge is bright and airy, with a large beige sofa and a fun blue armchair, over which rests a fluffy blanket. A TV sits in the corner, and there are white shelves to house indoor plants and photos.

Clearly fond of a floral, Verity has vases of blooms throughout the home and there’s a shelf with books on in the kitchen. Verity shared a snap of her tot eating his food at the table, and wooden floorboards can be spotted running throughout the home in the background. At Christmas, Verity clearly goes all out and bathes the home in sensational festive decor. A post on her Instagram saw a well decorated tree sitting in the corner and various festive ornaments dotted around.

We got a peek at the actress’ kitchen too, as her partner playfully posed with napkins on his ears. The dining room inside the home is wooden, and goes with the rustic yet cosy vibe inside Verity’s home. Following her pregnancy announcement, Verity’s followers commented with messages of congratulations and her former co-star on Hollyoaks, Rachel Adedeji, commented on the news: “Beautiful! Congratulations hun.”
