I’m buying these four Medik8 skincare products in Prime Day sale (Image: Medik8)As a beauty writer, I get to try out plenty of different skincare products, but Medik8 is one of those brands that will almost always be a staple in my daily routine. I will, however, readily admit sometimes the price tags can be a little on the high side, which is why the Amazon Prime Big Deal Days are the perfect time to stock up on the brand. Right now there are plenty of different Medik8 products included in the Prime Day sales, whether you’re after a new cleanser or toner, want to stock up on hyaluronic acids or are ready to splurge on the lauded r-Retinoate Day and Night Cream while it’s on offer. They all currently have at least 20% off, so if you’re keen to add some Medik8 to your skincare routine, these are the four products I’m shopping this Prime Day. Designed to tackle signs of ageing, the C-Tetra serum is packed with stabilised vitamin C which helps smooth the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, as well as brightening your skin tone and giving an even, healthy-looking complexion. PROS: Balances your skin. Tackles multiple skincare issues at once. Lightweight and nourishing. Contains a low-irritation form of vitamin C. CONS: Some reviewers had an adverse reaction, saying it left their skin red and bumpy. Quite expensive for 30ml. Leaves skin extra sensitive to sun you must wear SPF after using it in the morning! (although you should be doing this anyway!)

Medik8 Advanced Night Restore Rejuvenating Multi-Ceramide Night Cream – was £59, now £42.70 The Advanced Night Restore Night Cream is now up for grabs with a whopping 28% off, meaning you can pocket nearly £17. This little miracle worker intensely hydrates while fortifying your skin’s natural defences. Wake up to a complexion that’s not only smoother but also firmer. PROS: It’s a saviour for dry, compromised skin Repairs damage Suits all skin types Works its magic overnight for a radiant morning glow The perfect follow-up to vitamin A treatments, offering extra nourishment and hydration A little goes a long way It sinks in fast CONS: Some users the scent has been described as a bit “antiseptic-y”. Medik8 r-Retinoate Youth Activating Day and Night Cream – was £149, now £119.20
The r-Retinoate Youth Activating Day and Night Cream is three skincare products in one
(Image: Amazon)
This is one of those that’s usually a major splurge, but if you can’t live without it, now is the time to get your hands on it with £30 off. Doubling as both a day and night cream, the r-Retinoate cream contains photostable retinyl retinoate which doesn’t lose its power when exposed to sunlight. Not only does it smooth fine lines and wrinkles, but it also revitalises your skin and visibly illuminates it, with all the benefits of vitamin A, vitamin C and hyaluronic acid in one product. PROS: It’s like having three products in one, which means more shelf space Great discount It’s eight times stronger than traditional retinol yet gentle on the skin Delivers visible results, and requires just two pumps per use. The packaging alone screams luxury. CONS: As mentioned, it’s definitely a splurge price point. Some do find it too strong on sensitive skin. Can take a while to sink into your skin. Medik8 Hydr8 B5 Intense Supercharged Multi-Weight Hyaluronic Acid Serum – was £59, now £47.20 Last but certainly not least is my favourite Medik8 product of all time, the Hyaluronic Acid Serum. A staple in any skincare routine, it has super long-lasting hydration, as well as plumping up your skin and leaving it visibly bouncy and firm. PROS: Incredibly hydrating. Improves hydration both instantly and over time. Can visibly see the difference after using it. Improves the appearance of your skin’s volume. CONS: Need to use around six drops each time you use it so doesn’t last super long. Need to wait a while for it to absorb before you can apply moisturiser to avoid pilling. You can also head directly to the Medik8 website, where you can save up to 40% on its skincare kits, or visit Debenhams, which also has discounts on certain Medik8 products. Alternatively, LookFantastic currently has up to 70% off skincare brands including Elemis, Liz Earle and Clinique, reports the Mirror.Story SavedYou can find this story in My Bookmarks.Or by navigating to the user icon in the top right.Follow OK!
