Ashley Park at the Netflix premiere of Emily in Paris (Image: WireImage)The second season of Emily In Paris is finally here and we’ve binge-watched it all. While we can’t get enough of the twists, turns and drama, one thing is for sure – the cast always look flawless, on screen and during the press tour. One of the stars of the show, Ashley Park – aka Mindy Chen – has shared her morning skincare routine and as well as being wonderfully simple, it won’t break the bank. Posting a video on social media in partnership with Beauty Pie, the actress took fans through her skincare routine step by step – which costs, in total, £46 – and it’s safe to say fans are ‘obsessed’. Sharing how this is the routine she follows each and every day on the series’ press tour, the 33-year-old said: “First I cleanse with this Japanfusion Pure Transforming Cleanser [£10]. It’s a gel to oil, so you massage it onto your dry skin and it turns into an oil. So hydrating. And cleans your face. We love a gel to oil to milk formula.” Read more: ‘I bagged £662 of Estée Lauder products for £177 at Boots – here’s how you can too’ Read more: Next’s ‘perfect’ £69 Christmas party dress that ‘gets lots of compliments’ And she’s not the only one as beauty buffs on Beauty Pie’s website share the sentiment with the product receiving over 3,000 five star reviews, one of which said: “I love a good cleanser and have tried so many cleansers but this is by far the best! I absolutely love the gel, to oil to milk consistency. Feels lux and is worth every penny, and less than half of what you would pay for a similar product of this type.”

Another simply stated: “Really good at removing make up. Feels nice after washing away. Skin doesn’t feel tight.” That being said, some struggled to get their mascara off with this particular cleanser. Although, it was hailed as being “lovely”. Explaining how her next step is the Super Healthy Skin Ultimate Anti-Aging Cream [£19], Ashley raved: “This thing- ooo I love it. It’s already half gone. What I love about it is it’s like my entire AM skincare all in one jar. “I used to carry around a lot of different stuff but this has vitamin B and vitamin C complex. It’s swiss engineered and what’s so great about it is it really restores my barrier so that having make-up on my face all day – it’s great for under make-up because the make-up doesn’t go into your pores. It also kind of re-energises and hydrates. Look at the hydration!”
For her last step, she shared that she applies an SPF, admitting it was something she ‘never used to do’. Speaking about Traceless Mineral Broad Spectrum SPF 30 Sunscreen + Primer [£17], she said: “What I love about it is it’s super lightweight and is a great primer for under your make-up.” Sharing how there is no white cast that often accompanies sun cream, she concluded saying it’s just “super – and I’m protected from the sun”. Fans of the actress were quick to race into her comments to share how gorgeous she looked with one saying: “Look at that glow”, while another added: “LOVE LOVE LOVE this.” Other loved that they could have the same skincare products as the star with one stating: “When you have the same routine as Ashley Park.” Elsewhere, beauty buffs love the affordability and results from e.l.f’s Holy Hydration! Face cream – which also has SPF in, here. For a budget friendly cleanser, this Byoma Melting Balm Cleanser for £15 at Space NK is also a hit. To see the full Beauty Pie range, visit the website here.
