If lip products are your kryptonite, Charlotte Tilbury’s Lip Icons Mystery is chocca with three full size products, one mini set – which has three products inside – and one deluxe sample. While the exact items aren’t known, one sneak peek Charlotte has given us is the brand’s best-selling Hyaluronic Happikiss in Pillow Talk, which is a hyaluronic Acid-infused hydrating lipstick balm in the brand’s beloved nude-pink Pillow Talk shade. Costing £27 alone, it’s almost half the £112 worth of the entire gift set. Fans of the brand love this lippy and have praised it for its “buttery” and “comfortable” finish. One said: “This performs exactly as it states. Buttery and comfortable balm, full on lipstick pigment and the most amazing gloss shine ever. It’s very comfortable and not sticky at all! Also, very important – IT does not bleed (Like a lot of similar designed lippies).” Another hailed it as their new ‘favourite’ and said: “My new favourite lipstick ( can’t believe how much I keep loving from this range ) I always wanted a lippy that was a high shine but also good coverage this ticks both. Also feels more like a balm than a lipstick.” It’s ideal if you want ‘the most snatched lip in the game’, as one beauty fan raved, adding: “I like the Pillow Talk balm because it makes my lips feel moist while looking snatched. You can pat on for softer glow or a little more for more pigment.” The only negativity one shopper experienced was that they found it ‘sticky’ and the packaging ‘cheap’ looking. They did state how it was “shiny on the lips”, however. Elsewhere, if you’re after a make-up gift set that’ll save you money and add to your beauty with some sparkle, one of Boots’ Star Gifts is Iconic London’s Glow All In, which contains its best-selling Prep-Set-Glow spray and triple threat mascara. Saving £65.50, the set is now £63.20 down from is £129 price tag. At Sephora, you can get Rare Beauty’s Selena Lip & Cheek faves for £50 here.
