Boots shoppers stock up on £10 anti-ageing cream that’s usually £34 (Image: Getty)Beauty enthusiasts are rushing to get their hands on a popular anti-ageing moisturiser that’s currently on sale. The Olay Regenerist Day Face Cream With SPF30 50ml, usually priced at £34, has been slashed to just £10 at Boots for one day only. The formula, dubbed ‘a facelift in a jar’ by fans, is among the many products discounted as part of the health and beauty retailer’s weekly £10 Tuesday deal – and it’s predicted to be a hot favourite. That’s because Boots is currently the most affordable place to snag this moisturiser, with Amazon still selling it for £15.49. The cream is touted to ‘penetrate up to ten layers deep into the skin surface’, providing hydration for up to 24 hours. It’s packed with skin-loving Vitamin B3 (Niacinamide) and Peptides which help visibly renew and ‘firm’ the skin – plus, it comes with the added benefit of SPF30 to shield against harmful UVA and UVB rays.

Suitable for all skin types, the cream has garnered some glowing reviews on the Boots website. One shopper even claimed it made them look decades younger, commenting: “I’ve started using Olay in my teens, I’m now 53 yrs old, I have compliments nearly every day at work and people I don’t know compliment my skin, they say I look 20 yrs younger, it’s a beautiful soft creamy moisturiser not heavy at all and at a very reasonable price, it has gentle ingredients that are not harsh at all on your skin. My motto is pay less and look a million.” One fan raved: “I’m a big fan of Olay and I’ve used their range for many years and as a mature lady, I use Olay Regenerist Day Face Cream with SPF30, which is light and non-greasy and absorbs well with the added bonus of the SPF30 protection. Also, as part of my skincare routine, I use the Serum and the Night Cream too which I can highly recommend. It’s an expensive range at full price, but I stock up when there are promotion offers available. It’s a facelift in a jar!” reports the Mirror. Another reviewer gushed: “Skin feels so soft and everyone at work keeps asking what my skin care routine is as they all say I look younger than my real age .” However, not everyone was impressed, with one user commenting: “It’s not the luxury feel on my skin as I was expecting. it takes a while to absorb into the skin. It’s an okay cream but definitely not my favourite.” If the discounted Olay cream isn’t what you’re looking for, our beauty team recommends a £29 moisturiser worn by Holly Willoughby to the NTAs. Alternatively, you can try Molly Mae’s favourite Laneige Water Bank Blue Hyaluronic Cream Moisturiser, which is also popular among shoppers.
