Liam’s rise to stardom was nothing short of meteoric after he auditioned on X Factor back in 2008 and later hit big time with Niall, Harry, Louis, and Zayn as part of the unforgettable One Direction, going on to conquer hearts globally. The former One Direction star, Liam, sadly lost his life in a tragic accident while vacationing with his girlfriend Kate Cassidy in Buenos Aires. Reports from La Nacion state that the 31 year old fell from a hotel’s third floor in the upscale Palermo district. A tragic turn of events unfolded when his body was found in an inner courtyard of the hotel, prompting the manager to call the authorities. The devastating fall, said to be from approximately 13 or 14 metres high, caused “very serious injuries incompatible with life.”

As per the local ambulance chief’s account to TN: “At 17.04 through the 911 integrated public safety system, we were alerted of a person who was in an internal courtyard of the management of a south house hotel.” They continued, saying: “At 17.11 a SAME team arrived and verified the death of this man and later we found out that he was a singer in a musical group. Unfortunately, he had injuries that were incompatible with life, as a result of his fall, so we had to confirm his death, there was no possibility of resuscitation.” In recent weeks, Liam had been giving his fans a taste of his escapades in Argentina through social media and even took time to support his ex-bandmate Niall at a concert.
