Following the heartbreaking announcement of Liam’s passing on Wednesday, aged just 31, The Vamps’ guitarist James McVey revealed an unseen picture with the late star. On his Instagram Stories, James shared a moment with Liam on stage amidst a crowd. Both lads are grinning at the camera, with Liam rocking a sweeping fringe. The late star looked dapper in the photo, donning a grey blazer, light grey trousers and black leather slip-on shoes. James simply shared the image with his followers, leaving it without any caption.

Tributes have been pouring in from all corners of the music world for Liam, who tragically fell from around 13 or 14 metres, sustaining “very serious injuries incompatible with life.”, reports the Mirror. Authorities report that the musician’s hotel room was found “in complete disarray” with “various items broken”. One Direction came together to release a heartfelt joint statement on Thursday evening. Signed off as “Louis, Zayn, Niall and Harry”, Liam’s One Direction bandmates expressed: “We’re completely devastated by the news of Liam’s passing. In time, and when everyone is able to, there will be more to say. But for now, we will take some time to grieve and process the loss of our brother, who we loved dearly.” The members of band 5 Seconds of Summer were deeply moved as they released a statement saying: “The memories we shared with him will be treasured forever. For now, our thoughts are with his family, his friends, and the fans who loved him alongside us. We will miss him terribly. We love you Liam.” They further expressed their sorrow by adding, “We are heartbroken.”

Expressing their admiration and gratitude, the band continued: “We love you, Liam, and we will never forget the influence you had on our lives. You truly believed in us and for that we are forever grateful. We don’t know if we thanked you enough. You were always so kind to us. It was an honor to begin our journey with you, we will never forget your presence in our lives.” Acknowledging Liam’s vibrant spirit, the heartfelt message from Calum, Ashton, Luke, and Michael stated: “There was such a bright light in you, we always saw that. We are so devastated that this world put that light out. We hope you’ll always be singing up there.
