Privacy NoticeDevastated One Direction fans are sharing what they believe to be a poignant sign from the late Liam Payne, who tragically passed away at 31. The beloved singer’s death sent shockwaves after he fell from his hotel suite in Buenos Aires. Mourning ‘Directioners’ have taken to social media with heartfelt tributes and some have spotted clouds shaped like chevrons, eerily reminiscent of Liam’s forearm tattoo. A fan shared: “I think this was a sign from him, RIP Liam.” Another responded, echoing the sentiment: “Fans spotted skies mirroring Liam Payne’s arrow tattoo, taking it as a sign that the singer is at peace following his passing.”

In a touching homage, many fans are now getting tattoos of five chevrons, symbolising the unity of One Direction members, including Niall Horan, Louis Tomlinson, Zayn Malik, and Harry Styles, which Liam’s own ink was believed to represent. Fans have been adding angel wings to their tattoos in memory of Liam Payne. One fan shared their new ink online, saying: “Finally took the step to get my One Direction tattoo, but in the saddest way possible-for Liam Payne. I always imagined it would be a happier moment, not under these circumstances. I would’ve chosen a different time, a different reason, but now feels right. I’m proud I pushed through the pain and cost to honour Liam in this way,” reports the Mirror. As his family endures an agonising wait, there’s hope that Liam’s body will be returned to the UK this week “back where he belongs”.

Fans have been paying tribute to Liam Payne following his death last week
A source revealed: “Liam’s loved ones just want him home, back where he belongs among his family. As they await the pathologist to finish their tests, behind the scenes, they have been tackling the logistics about how best to get his body back to the UK. There are no direct commercial flights between Buenos Aires and London, but naturally, they want the flight to have the least stops and interruptions possible. But Geoff is determined to accompany his son home.” The cause of the star’s death remains ‘inconclusive’ as authorities in Argentina conduct tests. Liam’s funeral is expected to take place at the start of next month once toxicology tests are completed. These updates follow the preliminary autopsy results which point to “multiple traumas” along with “internal and external bleeding” from the tragic fall being the cause of death. Further investigations including toxicological and anatomical-pathological studies of his blood and urine are underway to check for any possible drug use.Story SavedYou can find this story in My Bookmarks.Or by navigating to the user icon in the top right.Follow OK!
