Privacy NoticeLiam Payne has tragically died at the age of 31 after falling from a hotel. The former One Direction member was on holiday in Buenos Aires with his girlfriend Kate Cassidy when he tragically fell from the third floor of a hotel. Liam, who shot to fame in 2011 as part of the mega-band after their stint on The X Factor, was put together by Simon Cowell along with Louis Tomlinson, Harry Styles, Zayn Malik and Niall Horan. Reports have emerged that Liam tragically fell from the third floor of a hotel in Argentina’s capital city. Emergency services, including police, firefighters and ambulances, were spotted outside the hotel following the incident. It’s been reported that police were initially called to the scene due to reports of a man behaving aggressively, possibly under the influence of alcohol or drugs.

A body was discovered in the internal courtyard of a hotel, leading to the police being called by the hotel manager, reports The Mirror. It’s believed that Liam fell from a height of around 13 or 14 metres, resulting in “very serious injuries incompatible with life.” The local ambulance manager released a statement to TN and said: “At 17.04 through the 911 integrated public safety system, we were alerted of a person who was in an internal courtyard of the management of a south house hotel. “At 17.11 a SAME team arrived and verified the death of this man and later we found out that he was a singer in a musical group. Unfortunately, he had injuries that were incompatible with life, as a result of his fall, so we had to confirm his death, there was no possibility of resuscitation.” In recent weeks, Liam had been sharing updates from his travels in Argentina and had attended a concert of his former bandmate, Niall. Liam was just 16 when he shot to fame as part of the world’s biggest boyband.
