So much so that she made a subtle dig at her daughter’s ex Kyle Walker, whom she shares two children with. While chatting about Lauryn’s latest romantic ventures on the show, the 33 year old confessed to being a bit reserved with the guys she’s met. Despite having a whirlwind of three dates in one day in an attempt to find Mr Right, Lauryn wasn’t convinced she’d found anything beyond friendship vibes, although she was willing to see one more date who she praised for their openness in discussing the death of his mum.

Then, Lauryn’s mum couldn’t hide her honest opinion and dropped a sassy comment that seemed to throw shade at Kyle Walker and Lauryn’s former flames. She candidly said: “It’d be nice for you to go out with a normal, nice chap for a change.” This cheeky remark lands after Lauryn expressed her desire to leave behind the tumultuous past involving her baby drama with the Manchester City footballer. Lauryn and Kyle have two kids from their fleeting encounters, despite Kyle’s marriage to Annie Kilner, with whom he has four children. The drama unfolded even more when Lauryn got real with love guru Anna Williamson, describing herself as a “shell of herself” and venting her frustration towards the England player. She detailed how the entire ordeal and the social media storm that followed her announcement had completely thrown her off balance, reports the Mirror. Lauryn has since exposed private text exchanges to silence doubters over the paternity of her children. Speaking of her Celebs Go Dating experience, Lauryn recently told OK! “I think viewers are going to be quite surprised. I think that people think that I just sleep around. Not that there is anything wrong with that – each to their own – but for me, I wasn’t brought up like that.” She elaborated on her disciplined upbringing and said: “My dad was really strict when I was younger. No boys were allowed upstairs. I have had four partners. One was long-term and I lived with him, a couple were well-known names and a couple not so well-known.
