A source told the Mirror: “Lauryn and Nicola are good pals. They have a lot in common. They are both involved with the football and reality worlds. Lauryn keeps being approached for TV deals and opportunities and feels Nicola’s experience and knowledge is best suited to deal with matters going forward.” Currently embroiled in the drama of her ex-flame’s public split, Lauryn is now part of the narrative in Kyle Walker’s divorce from his wife Annie Kilner, especially after bringing two children into the world with the football ace amidst his marriage troubles. In a decisive step, Annie has just this week lodged the papers to dissolve their union, reports the Mirror. Manchester City footballer Kyle Walker’s marriage to Annie Kilner has hit rock bottom after years of turmoil. The 34 year old and his wife, 31, started dating as teenagers in Sheffield and tied the knot three years ago. They have four children together, but their relationship has been marred by Kyle’s infidelity. Annie had previously forgiven Kyle for his affair with Lauryn Goodman, 33, which resulted in the birth of their son Kairo, now four.

However, the final straw came when Lauryn revealed to Annie in a text message on December 27 that Kyle had fathered a second child with her, a daughter named Kinara. The news was especially devastating as Annie was pregnant with their fourth child at the time. Despite the revelation, Kyle had moved back into the family home with Annie and their children, Roman, 11, Riaan, seven, Reign, five, and baby Rezon, last month. However, the couple had been sleeping in separate rooms since Annie served Kyle with divorce papers earlier this month. Sources close to the couple claim that Kyle, who is estimated to be worth £27million, is determined to fight to save his marriage. Nevertheless, he has also instructed his own divorce lawyers, indicating that the relationship may be beyond repair. The drama surrounding Kyle’s personal life has been further complicated by a child maintenance court case involving Lauryn. It was revealed that Kyle had been making significant payments to Lauryn, including a £2.4million housing budget and a £5,650 alarm clock.

Lauryn was accused of having “insatiable greed” by Kyle’s camp, while she maintained that her actions were “only ever about the children and providing for their futures”.
