The star has been warned not to talk too much, or make digs, about her footballer ex Kyle Walker, with whom she shares her two children with. Anna Williamson, who is one of the experts on the show, told The Sun: “We made it very clear to Lauryn if she wanted to just come on the show to trash her ex or the situation then we weren’t going to be a vehicle for that. “But we were here to help her and obviously talking about her ex and her past situation and the situation she is currently in is a huge part of her storyline on the show.”

Lauryn and Kyle welcomed their son Kairo in April 2020 after they had a brief fling while Kyle was on a break with his wife, Annie Walker. Last year, it was revealed Lauryn was pregnant again and then gave birth to a daughter, known as K.W, in August 2023. After much speculation, it was revealed that Kyle was also the father. Kyle also shares four children with his wife Annie. The pair got together when they were teenagers and tied the knot in 2022. They share four kids, Roman, 11, Riaan, seven, five-year old Reign and their baby son who she gave birth to in April.
Lauryn is looking for love on Celebs Go Dating this year
Lauryn signed up to Celebs Go Dating and will appear as a late arrival to the series. And Anna has revealed that Lauryn was in tears as soon as she stepped foot into the agency doors. Anna described Lauyrn’s situation with Kyle as ‘sticky’ and that having her sign up to the show has been met with mixed criticism from fans. The expert went on to say that Lauryn had been a challenging celebrity to work with but ‘not in a bad way’.

Lauryn will join the likes of Love Island’s Chris Taylor, former Corrie actress Helen Flanagan, MAFS star Ella Morgan, singer and actress Jamelia, Gogglebox ’s Stephen Lustig-Webb and Made in Chelsea’s Tristan Phipps – who are all looking for love. The singletons will be getting advice from love experts Paul Carrick Brunson, Anna Williamson and Dr Tara Suwinyattichaiporn as they go on dates with strangers.
