Privacy NoticeKerry Katona headed to Ireland this weekend to reunite with her eldest daughter Molly, who is studying at the Lir National Academy of Dramatic Art. Sharing a snap to Instagram from the trip, Kerry beamed from ear to ear while posing with Molly and her middle daughter Heidi. “Well done my baby girl,” wrote Kerry as she pointed to Molly, who had just performed on-stage. Kerry shares kids Molly, 23, and Lilly, 21, with her ex-husband Brian McFadden, while she is also mum to Max, 16, and Heidi, 17, from her relationship with Mark Croft and youngest daughter DJ, ten, with her late ex-husband George Kay.

Recently celebrating Molly’s 23rd birthday, Kerry bought her eldest a tattoo gun for the milestone. She told OK!: “My Molly turned 23 over the weekend – I can’t believe how fast time is passing. Ryan and I spoiled her. She’s been asking for a tattoo gun for a while so we got her one and I’m going to let her tattoo me. I think it will be so special to have a tattoo done by my daughter on me forever. I don’t know what design I’ll choose yet – I don’t even care if it’s just a squiggle. “I spent time with her before coming away on holiday and when we left for the airport I balled my eyes out because I knew she would be back at drama school in Dublin by the time we got home. It was so emotional. I love all my kids equally but because Molly is my first born, it makes me particularly emotional. That’s something you can never take away. Kerry concluded: “She may be 23, but she’ll always be my baby girl. Although, her birthday also reminds me how old I’m getting. I can’t believe I’ll be 44 on Friday.”

The reunion comes as Kerry recently paid tribute to Liam Payne following his tragic death, explaining the death has not only left her emotional, but reminded Kerry of her late husband, George Kay’s death following a drug overdose in 2019. After having to tell their daughter, DJ, of George’s passing, Kerry knows all too well what Liam’s ex Cheryl will be going through with their son, Bear. Kerry said: “I was absolutely heartbroken when I read the shocking news of Liam Payne’s death last Wednesday night. I am sending so much love to his family and friends – they must be going through the worst pain. “It has been really triggering for me because the circumstances are so similar to when my late husband George [Kay] died in 2019. Listening to the news and the hotel staff’s calls to the police brought it all back. It was really similar to the calls they made about George – and that’s something that never leaves you. “I never met Liam but I cried my eyes out at the news because I know exactly what his ex, Cheryl, is going through and how it feels to tell your child their father is dead. I’ll never forget the day I had to tell DJ – it’s one of the most horrible experiences you can ever go through.Story SavedYou can find this story in  My Bookmarks.Or by navigating to the user icon in the top right.Follow OK!
