Privacy NoticeKelly Brook has confessed she lost patience and got frustrated with her husband Jeremy Parisi in Wednesday’s Celebrity Race Across The World. The model and radio star, 44, admitted she was left “completely broken” after arguing with her French hubby following a huge mishap during the BBC One reality show. The pair, who began dating in 2015, rose to the challenge of making their way to the Andes, Frutillar in Southern Chile, going head-to-head against three other celebrity duos. But the couple ended up miles behind their co-stars thanks to a big mistake and ended up stranded in Brazil without any local currency after spending too much on a taxi ride and were miles away from the second checkpoint.

Jeremy had made the decision to get the cab for a leg of their journey but it wasted four hours and Kelly’s decision to take the coastal rode also added to their time. Hours later, Kelly and Jeremy walked through Recife in the scorching sun, and they missed one bus after another, leading Kelly to lose her temper. “I’m not convinced we’re going to catch the bus at 9. It’s more realistic that we go on the 11.” The model and actress added: “Ideally, we wanted to get the first bus out at 9 o’clock to drive down to the coast (…) but we have to get money to be able to continue our race.”

Stomping down the street while looking for a bank to change some currency, Kelly argued: “Oh my God, like one terrible decision. You grabbed that taxi, and then we were stuck. “If we’re moving at that pace, we’re going to keep making those mistakes.” Jeremy tried to de-escalate the situation and said: “We’re on the same side, babe.” But Kelly continued: “I know we’re on the same side but the fact is, we were so desperate to race and get on the road we’re now walking around a city we don’t know trying to find a bank.”

Looking exhausted after spending a night in the bus station, Kelly admitted before boarding the vehicle: “It’s 11.19am and we’ve missed two busses, so we’re going to try and get on the 1pm and we have to get down there now because I am, honestly, I am completely broken. We are literally exhausted. Jeremy and I never argue. And I mean never. And we are being really tested on this.” The stunning model and her hubby Jeremy have been competing in the celeb-packed race, beginning their adventure in Brazil. Celebrity excitement isn’t in short supply on this year’s Celebrity Race Across The World 2024, which boasts a lineup featuring Jeff and Freddy Brazier, Kola Bokinni of Ted Lasso fame alongside his cousin, Mary Ellen and Radio 2’s very own Scott Mills with husband Sam, racing alongside Kelly and Jeremy.

Spanning even more kilometres than its inaugural season journey from Morocco to Norway, the contestants this season set off from Belem in Northern Brazil and will sprint towards the finish line in Frutillar nestled within the mighty Andes mountains after hitting five checkpoints across South America. Jeff Brazier and his son Freddy are gearing up for an epic adventure, potentially trekking through countries like Guyana, Venezuela, Colombia, Ecuador, and Peru, all famed for their stunning mountainous landscapes and breathtaking waterfalls. Jeff shared his excitement and said: “I want to be up a mountain, I want to be next to a lake, I want to be on a beach. I want all those things. I want to see a waterfall.”Story SavedYou can find this story in  My Bookmarks.Or by navigating to the user icon in the top right.Follow OK!
