Privacy NoticeKate Middleton’s moving video was probably the most intimate look inside the life The Princess of Wales the world has even seen. While sharing the positive news that she has now completed her course of preventive chemotherapy, Kate, 42, gave viewers a glimpse into everything she holds near, including her children Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis. As well as stunning shots of Kate and her husband Prince William enjoying time with their youngsters on the beach and in the forest, there were also a number of other cameos of things that Kate considers important in her life, as she spoke about having time “to reflect and be grateful for the simple yet important things in life, which so many of us often take for granted.”
The video showed an incredibly personal side of The Princess of Wales
Captured by filmmaker Will Warr, the heartwarming footage depicts the princess basking in the summer sun within the serene Norfolk woods, and tender moments of embrace between Kate and her husband scattered throughout. In the softly-spoken voiceover, Kate said: “The cancer journey is complex, scary and unpredictable for everyone, especially those closest to you. With humility, it also brings you face to face with your own vulnerabilities in a way you have never considered before, and with that, a new perspective on everything.” However, amidst these emotional glimpses, there are a few unexpected snippets that may have slipped by unnoticed. A few other members of the family briefly appear in the footage, as well as the family’s beloved pet, and Kate’s stunning sentimental jewellery. Mum and Dad While the video focuses on Kate, William, and their trio of young royals, two additional family characters who have no doubt been a huge support to the family since Kate first announced her cancer diagnosis in March. In a fleeting moment, Carole and Michael Middleton are spotted in the clip having a blast playing a card game with their daughter, son-in-law and grandkids. Kate’s parents are known to be a rock for their daughter, always there for her young family.
Faithful pet Orla was seen sitting peacefully with William and Kate

Orla the dog Another beloved member of the family who pops up briefly throughout the video is the family’s dog, Orla. The black English Cocker Spaniel has been a loyal friend to the family for many years and in the heartfelt video can be seen strolling with them on the beach, sitting obediently as they enjoy a picnic and being gently petted by Kate as she cuddles William. The pet holds a special place in their hearts as Kate and William received her as a generous gift from her brother, James Middleton, who is renowned for his love of dogs. Orla also made an appearance in birthday snaps when Charlotte turned seven.

Her ring Early on in the three-minute clip, Kate is seen behind the wheel of her car driving through the countryside. As she rests her left hand on the gear stick, her rings are visible, and she does not seem to be wearing her sapphire blue engagement ring, which previously belonged to Princess Diana and was given to Kate when she and William got engaged in 2010. Instead, The Duchess of Cambridge opted for an alternative ring, gleaming with diamonds and other gemstones, just like the ring she flaunted when sending her best to Team GB during the Paris Olympics.

Cheeky George and Louis’ Giggles In a heartfelt snippet of the video, we catch a glimpse of Duchess Kate gently nudging little Prince Louis on a swing, as her touching voiceover echoes in the background. It’s clear that her brood means everything to her, especially throughout her treatment so much so, that her narrative only stops to let her little ones’ voices shine through. Turning the adorable factor up even more, it flips to selfie mode where, and we see George, Charlotte, and Louis huddled around their mother. The ever-curious Prince George dashes up to the lens, with a “is this filming?” while cheeky Charlotte and Louis pop into view, chiming in with a bright “hello!” Sign up to OK!’s daily newsletter to get updates sent to your inbox for free

William to the rescue Throughout the video, loving moments between William and Kate abound, presenting the Prince of Wales as a doting father. But he’s not just tender he’s practical too! In a delightful moment towards the clip’s end, Prince William plays the hero, deftly removing an unexpected guest what appears to be a ladybird from Princess Charlotte’s hair. While their family game of cards continues, William skilfully wields a playing card to gently dislodge the tiny intruder from Kate’s hair. The heartwarming scene shows the Royal children watching in delight as their father carefully places the ladybird on a card, before teasingly pretending to put it near his daughter, prompting a playful shriek from Charlotte.
Kate shared a very powerful and moving message throughout the film

Embracing nature In a serene and symbolic moment towards the end of the film, the Princess of Wales is seen strolling through a picturesque field, gently catching a butterfly on her hand. She tenderly cradles the delicate creature before it takes flight, as she offers words of hope and solidarity to those affected by cancer: “To all those who are continuing their own cancer journey I remain with you, side by side, hand in hand. Out of darkness, can come light, so let that light shine bright.”Story SavedYou can find this story in My Bookmarks.Or by navigating to the user icon in the top right.Follow OK!
