Privacy Notice Prince William and Kate Middleton “intensely mirrored” one another during their recent public engagement to meet the bereaved families of the Southport stabbing victims, a body language expert has claimed. The Prince and Princess Of Wales embarked on the unannounced trip on Thursday, 10 October where they privately met the families of Bebe King, six, Elsie Dot Stancombe, seven, and Alice Dasilva Aguiar, nine, who were tragically fatally stabbed during a Taylor Swift-themed dance class earlier this year, and the children’s dance teacher. In a social media post, William and Kate said: “Meeting the community today has been a powerful reminder of the importance of supporting one another in the wake of unimaginable tragedy.” Following the visit, body language expert Judi James explained how the trip came with some “familiar body language behaviours” for the pair, adding that the duo showed off their “signature look”.

“One very sweet, familiar trait is that of intense mirroring between Kate and William. This has always been their signature look and it is happily as intense as ever. There are times they sit looking completely twinned here, heads cocked at the same angle to listen and hands clasped over their knees. Even their outfits are matching,” she told FEMAIL. Judi also added that while there were a “couple of signs of what look like inner tension”, Kate became more relaxed as the visit went on. “But she visibly relaxes as the visit goes on, until she is standing talking to one of the responders in a more energetic, animated way,” she explained. While in Merseyside, the Prince and Princess Of Wales, both 42, spent around 90 minutes meeting with the bereaved families before also visiting the Southport Community Centre to speak with emergency responders and health practitioners who are supporting the local “blue light” community. It’s reported that the visit was initially intended to be a solo trip for William, but Kate chose to join him to show her support, empathy, and compassion. The outing comes after Kate was seen last week hugging 16 year old aspiring photographer Liz Hatton, who has been diagnosed with a rare form of cancer. The photographer was invited by William to Windsor Castle to take photos during an investiture ceremony he was hosting.

“A pleasure to meet with Liz at Windsor today. A talented young photographer whose creativity and strength has inspired us both. Thank you for sharing your photos and story with us. W&C,” a post by the Princess and Princess Of Wales read. In response to the post, Liz reshared the image on her own Instagram Story and added: “Such a lovely, genuine and kind people, I’m over the moon that my family and I had this experience.”Story SavedYou can find this story in  My Bookmarks.Or by navigating to the user icon in the top right.Follow OK!
