Successful career Career-wise, Joel Dommett has been gracing our screens for several years now. However, he started off with minor roles in shows like Casualty and The Golden Hour back in the early 2000s. His movie debut came in 2008 when he played a small role as a train soldier in the war film The Edge of Love, which starred Hollywood actors Kiera Knightley and Sienna Miller.

But it was his transition into comedy that catapulted him into mainstream success. He performed on Russell Howard’s Good News in 2011 and later appeared on BBC Three’s Impractical Jokers. His popularity soared after appearing on 2016’s series of I’m A Celebrity, Get Me Out of Here. From November 2017 until December 2019, he hosted the show’s spin-off, I’m a Celebrity: Extra Camp on ITV2. Joels successful career includes hosting major TV programmes such as the Masked Singer, the Masked Dancer and Survivor. He also shared the limelight with Big Brother presenter AJ Odudu, co-hosting the Eurovision Song Contest Big Welcome in Liverpool last year. Family life Joel tied the knot with model Hannah Cooper in 2019 after the sparks flew between them in 2016. Believe it or not, but this love story began when Hannah messaged Joel first following his stint on I’m A Celeb.

The pair welcomed their bundle of joy, a son they named Wilde Cooper-Dommett, into the world last year. Hannah announced his arrival as she shared a post on Instagram with a black and white picture of their baby’s foot and his lovely name. She wrote: “Wilde Cooper-Dommett. Pinterest perfect baby feet that are already bigger than his Dad’s.” At the time, Joel raised a few eyebrows by saying he wanted to make a flat white from Hannah’s breast milk. Lavish wedding Joel and Hannah tied the knot back in 2019 in a stunning beach ceremony on the Greek Island of Mykonos. The presenter and Hannah announced their engagement in December 2017 after a year of dating. For their wedding, close friend and fellow comedian, narrator , officiated. Opening up about the day to OK! to in February 2020, Joel said: “It was honestly so fun. I was fully prepared to say it was the best day of my life and pretend it was – because I’ve been lucky enough to do Bake Off and I’ve had these amazing experiences in my life – but it was genuinely the best day of my life! “We had 28 people there. Some people have weddings where half the day is saying hi and bye to people. “I wanted our closest friends and family to have a wonderful time.” Luxurious abode The couple became homeowners in 2019, giving fans glimpses of their stylish pad through various snaps and clips shared on social media. It even boasts a home gym!

The fitness enthusiast couldn’t resist flaunting the space on Instagram, writing: “I wanted to make it feel like it was a gym in my house not a gym in my garage – it’s taken a while but I REALLY love it. The new rig from @bulldoggear is insane.. and the paint colour from @lick is perfect. Its really a dream come true.” Sharing a video of their last moments in their former flat, Joel revealed that the flat they shared was actually the spot where he popped the question to Hannah. Joel said: “We’re leaving this flat. I got engaged to you in this flat. Five years. Two of which I was with you.” Hannah added: “We’re onto a big adult house now” with Joel agreeing: “We’re going to be real adults.
