The unexpected teaser brought new details, with the accompanying press release confirming that the Big Brother house has been relocated to a “brand-new secret location for the forthcoming instalment”. The secret location will host “a new batch of VIPs” as they get ready to “embark on the original social experiment,” while viewers can look forward to “tense tasks, nail-biting nominations and gripping gossip”. Last year’s Big Brother house was located at Garden Studios, a newly-built studio in West London. But with the news of a secret new premise, fans could be in for a completely different viewing experience as the celebs adjust to the house.

Alongside the main show, the spin-off series Late & Live will return, offering additional content through live interviews and a star-studded panel. The Live Stream will also be available for fans to watch the housemates during the day. ITV confirmed the renewal of Celebrity Big Brother and its companion show last year, with Paul Mortimer, Director of Reality Commissioning and Acquisitions, sharing a statement upon the announcement. He said at the time: “Big Brother programming has firmly established itself across ITV’s platforms and become a favourite with our viewers. Together, Big Brother and Celebrity Big Brother have grown audiences on ITV1 and ITV2 and amassed almost 100 million streams on ITVX.”
