Privacy NoticeITV viewers have been left “gutted” after Ferne McCann revealed she’s ending her reality series ‘My Family & Me’ after seven years. The mum-of-two took to Instagram to share a lengthy statement with her fans and admitted the decision wasn’t an easy one for her. She penned: “After an incredible 13 series I have made the very difficult decision that this series of @fernemyfamandme will be my last. “Where do I begin? Firstly by saying a huge, huge thank you to each one of you that have watched my show and been on our family journey with us. “This show has been such an incredible part of my life for the past seven years and what a ride it has been filming from being pregnant with Sunday to now. Your support and loyalty to me and my family has, at times, lifted me more than you will ever know. Thank you.”

The reality star went on to share that as her children continue to grow, specifically daughter Sunday, she wants her to be able to “take her own path”. She signed off by thanking all of her fans once again and expressing her gratitude for all of the support they’ve shown her. Ferne’s fans were left devastated by the announcement and took to the comments section to Instagram to express their sorrow. One person wrote: “Love this show so much! Will be sad to see it end! But completely understand the decision. Thanks for the best 7 years of relatable tv (involving parenting).” Another commented: “fernemccann absolutely gutted, love watching you and your beautiful family. You always keep it so real. Completely understand, you have to do what’s best for you all.”

Somebody else said: “Aw gutted. But thank you for letting us into your life and follow your journey. Wish and hope your family all the best and still hope to see you and your family still. Love you all.” (sic) While a fourth added: “I am so sad this is coming to an end. I have watched every minute of every episode. You poured your heart out and you were a true representation of life struggles today.” Fans of the show will be pleased to know that they still have one last series to tune into before the show ends. Ferne shot to fame on The Only Way Is Essex back in 2013. She began her own show First Time Mum in 2017 before rebranding to My Family & Me last year.
