This Morning’s Giles Brandreth has opened up about Meghan Markle’s fresh Netflix offering during his chat with presenters Josie Gibson and Alison Hammond. The Celebrity Gogglebox star, who is friends with the Royal Family, shared their reaction to With Love, Meghan – Meghan Markle’s upcoming lifestyle show which arrives on Netflix next week. When asked by Josie Gibson whether the royals were “worried” about the programme, Giles remarked: “I don’t think they’re even noticing it. “They may now because if they’re sensible, they’ll be watching This Morning, but I think they were not even vaguely aware of it. It will be of concern to anyone.” Alison expressed her excitement, noting how she’s captivated by the blend of reality TV and royalty: “I’ve noticed it and I’m going to be all over it. I love stuff like that. It’s kind of reality TV but with royalty,” to which Giles concurred: “It’s the kind of programme we enjoy.”

Earlier on air, Giles had dished on what viewers can expect from the Duchess’s venture, clarifying: “You’re not going to be seeing royals behind the scenes. You’re going to be seeing a very glossy, delightful lifestyle programme made by Americans starring Meghan, who is already an American television star.” The series throws open the doors for intimate chats and lifestyle tips as it follows the Duchess alongside stars like Mindy Kaling, Abigail Spencer, chef Roy Choi, and even Prince Harry himself in various guest roles, reports the Mirror. Netflix dropped a fresh teaser for their latest series, and it’s got everyone talking, as Meghan Markle is captured in a carefree moment, dancing sans shoes. The sneak peek not only gives us a shorthand view of Prince Harry but also a poignant snapshot of the couple’s late pooch Guy, who passed away earlier this year. Taking to Instagram with excitement, Meghan shared: “Six more days until our show launches on @netflix! Celebrating the crew and everyone who helped make this happen! The countdown begins.” Whilst it was initially set to grace screens earlier on, the much-awaited Netflix series faced a push back due to the catastrophic LA wildfires. In a heartfelt message on Instagram dated January 12, Meghan expressed: “‘I’m thankful to my partners at Netflix for supporting me in delaying the launch, as we focus on the needs of those impacted by the wildfires in my home state of California.” It’s said that ‘With Love, Meghan’ will pay homage to California and the individuals deeply affected by the wildfire tragedy.
