Privacy NoticeIn a cheeky moment during his show, James Martin got called out by none other than 90s pop sensation Shaznay Lewis from All Saints. Shaznay dug into her love for all things culinary while James whipped up a mouth-watering blackened chicken with miso that definitely made our foodie senses tingle. As she chatted about how she connected with bandmate Melanie Blatt, she found herself trying to juggle cooking and conversing, leading her to admit, “I know, I’m talking and watching and trying to learn at the same time.” Taking it on the chin, our beloved James shot back with a witty, “I’ll shut up for a minute then.” Fans who tuned in on Saturday (July 27) got to see this fun rerun from earlier this year, which had Shaznay spicing up the set while promoting Miracle, her first solo venture in two decades, reports the Express.

Coronation Street’s ‘saddest episode’ has fans teary as it airs Paul death twist

Nostalgic and beaming with excitement, this 90s legend reminisced on her All Saints days and buzzed with joy about her solo spotlight. In another week’s worth of kitchen chaos caught on TV, our beloved chef James had to hit pause on his Saturday morning show, as production danced about figuring out a culinary calamity. With foodie pros Glynn Purnell, Asma Khan, and Kenny Atkinson, plus Linda Robson from Loose Women at his side, they brought some unintended April antics to viewers. Kicking things off, James grilled Glynn: “So surf and turf is steak and lobster and that kind of stuff but you’ve got mussels with it?” Glynn confirmed, “Yes we are going to be using mussels with it,” chatting about the choice because these shellfish superstars were just perfect this season, steamed up in a lovely pot of cider. But steam’s not just for kettles and engines; it turns out it can also fog up a whole show! Directors piped up they couldn’t even spot Kenny through the misty mayhem, urging for a pan relocation. James countered, “Directors are saying they can’t see Kenny because of the steam, can you move the pan?”

Producers stepped in to stem the steam issue in the studio

With a mischievous glint, James shot back, “Um no. Sorry, Kenny if you just move to the side,” as giggles rippled across the studio. Glynn jumped into the jamboree, egging on: “Or we can just higher his chair up or he can eat his vegetables, it’s one or the other.” The fresh treasure trove of James Martin’s Saturday Morning episodes won’t drop till August, but fans can feast their eyes on some top-notch reruns for their Saturday fix until then.
