In the episode airing on Sunday, July 21, the islanders are set to receive a text announcing: “Islanders, it’s awards season and tonight you are invited to a ceremony all about you. The winner of each category has been chosen by the public. Prepare your acceptance speeches and glam up, it’s time for The Grafties! #AndTheWinnerIs #RollTheTapes.” Anticipation is high as this event is tipped to be even more jaw-dropping than Movie Night. Meanwhile, the nominations for the six awards begin to stir up trouble among the contestants. Sean, Grace, and Joey find themselves in the spotlight as nominees for the Flirtiest Performance award, reports the Mirror. As Joey finds himself on the chopping block, his flirty chats with Lola are broadcasted for all to see on the big screen, leaving Jessy less than thrilled. She retorts: “Well you used the trouble maker line on me first… if she put in more of a graft would you have failed the test? “. The It’s Giving One Sided award will see Josh, Jess, and Reuben vying for the title, while the Most Dramatic Performance category has Ciaran, Jessy, and Nicole in the running.

The not-so-coveted Ultimate Pot Stirrer award is a three-way race between Joey, Sean, or Reuben. The Unfinished Business category sees Grace and Josh, Mimii and Ayo, and Grace and Joey battling it out, while the Epic Fail award will go to either Ciaran, Mimii, or Sean. With Josh up for the It’s Giving One Sided award, Sean doesn’t hold back his thoughts, saying: “You’ve made Mimii exclusive, quite quick as well so I feel like it’s some one sided game to be fair”. Josh fires back: “I just didn’t need to go through three people to know who I want” Sean elaborates: “You’ve come in, stuck with Mimii, contemplated it with Grace but you didn’t have the bottle to go through with it…You’ve made some mad moves and played it quite safe”. Joey jumps into the fray, backing up Sean’s comments, adding: “I feel like what he’s trying to say is that you’ve gone exclusive under pressure quite quickly”. Josh retorts: “What you’re saying doesn’t even make sense Joey bro” while Jessy jumps in to defend Joey, telling Josh: “You’re not listening, this is your problem! “. As the winners are announced one by one and the suspense rises, Love Island has hinted that “dramatic conversations and secret moments” will be exposed, leading to tension among the Islanders.
