Coronation Street’s young talent Luca Toolan, who landed on the cobbles as Mason Radcliffe in 2023 and quickly became known for his role in Liam Connor’s (portrayed by Charlie Wrenshall) bullying saga, has shared his fresh career move after his character’s devastating exit. Following his portrayal of Weatherfield’s notorious troublemaker turned reformed character that ended with gut-wrenching stabbing scenes, 21-year-old Luca is looking to inspire future stars. Stepping into a new spotlight, Luca took to Instagram to reveal he will be nurturing aspiring actors by teaching weekly acting workshops designed for 11 to 18 year-olds in Manchester. Bee Rogue Talent proudly posted about their newest team member complete with a video where Luca dishes out the delightful details.

“I am keeping myself busy as best as possible and I am running some acting classes,” the soap star gleefully expressed. His Wednesday evening sessions at Bee Rogue Talent promise an engaging mix of improvisation, script learning, character exploration, and mastering acting’s fine art, inviting interested students to sign up online. Luca couldn’t hide his enthusiasm, adding: “It is going to be great and we are going to do a lot of script analysis, improvisation, character development and learning and teaching the craft of acting.” Spreading his passion for performance, it’s clear that this Corrie alum is set to make quite the impact off-screen, reports Lancs Live. Following his last appearance on Coronation Street earlier this year, Luca confessed to feeling a “mixture of emotions” about his character’s demise.

“Of course when I first heard, there was a mixture of emotions because I was sad that Mason was going to die and that means I would be leaving – but equally I was really excited and honoured to be part of this storyline because it’s an incredibly important issue that needs to be tackled,” he shared at the time. “I feel so privileged to have had this opportunity to start my professional career at Coronation Street and what a great time I’ve had.” Coronation Street airs on weekdays at 8pm on ITV1
