Privacy NoticeTV and radio star Vick Hope is gracing our screens as the host of BBC’s new talent show, Made in Korea: The K-Pop Experience. Vick, 34, rose to fame as a BBC Radio 1 presenter, and now she’s married to superstar DJ Calvin Harris. The Strictly Come Dancing alum sparked engagement rumours in May 2022, when she was spotted flaunting a massive diamond ring last year. It’s believed that Calvin popped the question at his charming farm in Ibiza, amidst his residency at the Ushuaia Hotel. The sparkler on her finger is said to have set Calvin back a cool £1million. Vick couldn’t help but gush about their engagement being ‘perfect’, as she revealed their love story actually goes all the way back to the early noughties when she was 19.

Calvin and Vick tied the knot in September 2023 in a spectacular Glastonbury-themed wedding celebration at Hulne Priory, Alnwick in Northumberland. The superstar DJ and radio host invited a number of famous friends, such as Big Brother presenter AJ Odudu, Radio 1 legend Scott Mills, and Channel 4 favourite Vernon Kay. After planning their special celebration for months, it didn’t disappoint, and guests were even treated to a stay-over on the sprawling fields, as snaps emerged of grand white tents littering the grounds. The epic celebration included a number of elements, such as a special firework display and there were even musical performances. “Calvin and Vick’s wedding was a day none of their guests will ever forget,” a source told The Sun. “Their vows were really emotional and the marriage ceremony included poems like Ernest Hemmingway’s If There’s Empty Spaces In Your Heart and Lori Eberhai’s Devoted. “They didn’t stop smiling all day. Calvin and Vick are so clearly madly in love, it was a truly beautiful day,” the source added. Vick said that she had rejected Calvin’s advances when he was enjoying his first flush of success with his hit Acceptable in the 80s back in 2007. “It’s something that we laughed about on our first proper date. We still laugh about it now,” she told You Magazine.

But before Calvin, Vick’s heart once beat for another celeb Plebs star Tom Rosenthal. Their love story spanned from 2013 to 2017 until Vick called it quits with the 34 year old funnyman amidst a ‘quarter-life crisis’, reports Birmingham Live. Vick opened up on the When Life Gives You Melons podcast, saying: “I’ve just broken up with my boyfriend of four-and-a-half years because I was thinking, ‘Is this right? Is this who I’m going to be with for the rest of my life? If I’m not 100 per cent sure about that, then maybe I should get out’.” Vick was a backstage reporter on The X Factor in 2019 – but she was linked to the series two years before, when it was suggested she was dating show winner Myles Stephenson – a member of the band Rak-Su. But by May of the next year, their love story had fizzled out, with Vick suggesting to The Sun that her demanding work schedule was to blame: “It’s hard to make anything work with people when you’re having to get up at 4.30am when you’re doing breakfast radio.”

Myles isn’t the only reality star that Vick has been involved with – as she was also linked to The Ibiza Weekender star Jordan Davies. Fans of both stars were shocked back in January 2017 when they announced on social media that they were engaged – with a photos showing Jordan on his knees holding a ring and Vick looking shocked by the proposal. However, the engagement turned out just to be a prank – although plenty of fans had fallen for the stunt and sent messages of support and encouragement. Jordan eventually explained: “Sorry guys I’m not engaged to @VickNHope it was a forfeit for #2awesome on @itv2 from the legend @romankemp. You’ll see it soon on @itv2.” Back in September 2020, whispers started circulating that Vick was enjoying a low-key romance with boxing champ Anthony Joshua. Anthony is said to have told The Sun that he and Vick had enjoyed some dates, but when pushed for more details on the fling herself, Vick coyly replied: “He did not say that… no, he didn’t.”Story SavedYou can find this story in  My Bookmarks.Or by navigating to the user icon in the top right.Follow OK!
