Privacy NoticeLeAnn Rimes and Eddie Cibrian have been happily married for 13 years, despite their relationship starting amidst a scandal. Both were already married when they met, LeAnn to backup dancer Dean Sheremet and Eddie to TV star Brandi Glanville. The pair first crossed paths while filming a Lifetime movie, Northern Lights, in 2009, which sparked an affair. In her book Drinking and Tweeting and other Brandi Blunders, Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Brandi Glanville revealed how she discovered her husband’s infidelity. She detailed a dinner outing where LeAnn and Eddie couldn’t keep their hands off each other, despite being in the company of their respective spouses. Brandi recalled: “This woman, whom I had just met, spent more time flirting with my husband than acknowledging her own.”

“And Dean, bless his heart, ate his sushi, laughed at all the right moments, and pretended that he didn’t see exactly what was in front of him.” The evening continued with a karaoke session, where Brandi alleges LeAnn pulled Eddie onstage to sing with her instead of her own husband, reports the Mirror. She added: “I looked at Eddie’s smiling face on that stupid, low-rent stage and leaned over to Dean and said, ‘You know they’re f**king, right?'” According to Brandi, Dean’s silence was all the confirmation she needed. She wrote: “said just about everything I needed to know, he knew it too, but like me, didn’t have any evidence besides that gut feeling, and he chose to ignore it for now.” Then Brandi demanded answers, saying: “‘What the f**k do you two have going on? Do you two have something you’d like to tell me?'” LeAnn brushed it off as just “being silly” while Eddie managed to reassure her that there was nothing untoward happening. However, by March 2009, snaps of LeAnn and Eddie sharing a smooch during a dinner date hit the headlines.

When they announced their separation in July, Brandi said: “Eddie and I have decided to take some time apart. I want to do what is best for our children [Mason and Jake]. Eddie and LeAnn deserve each other.” Their divorce was all done and dusted by October 2010. Meanwhile, reports suggested that LeAnn and her then-husband Dean had been estranged for a bit but were trying to patch things up. They officially called it quits on their marriage in June that year. Not long after, in December 2010, Eddie popped the question to LeAnn, and by April the next year, they tied the knot. The drama didn’t end there though, with LeAnn and Brandi at loggerheads for ages over the whole affair saga. In August 2012, after LeAnn entered rehab, Brandi lashed out, branding her “unstable” and expressing concerns about her being around her kids unsupervised. Brandi even went so far as to speculate that LeAnn and Eddie’s marriage was doomed. In April 2018, the celebrity spat seemed to end with Brandi tweeting: “The three of us sat and talked for hours hashed everything out and the feud with @leannrimes Eddie and I is over.” But fast forward, and the drama flared up again when earlier this year Brandi accused LeAnn and husband Eddie for not allowing her to see her children.

She vented on social media in March, stating: “It’s very crazy that I’ve been alone for this entire week and I can’t be with my children because it happens not to be my week in our divorce settlement.” She also argued: “I think that this is a time with special circumstances and I should be able to be with them. …” Brandi then questioned the couple’s sincerity: “This is when people’s true colors show @eddiecibrian @leannrimes how truthful are your words??!!”. Meanwhile, LeAnn seems untroubled by past conflicts, expressing to ABC News: “It happens every day to so many people.” She mused about their situation: “And if I take away my album sales, my words … you have just another couple. You had two couples whose marriages didn’t work who really stumbled upon each other and fell in love.”Story SavedYou can find this story in  My Bookmarks.Or by navigating to the user icon in the top right.Follow OK!
