Privacy NoticeStrictly Come Dancing’s Johannes Radebe has given fans a sneak peek into his gorgeous London flat. The 37 year old pro dancer, who made waves on the BBC show in 2021 with his same-sex pairing with Bake Off’s John Whaite, has been showing off his stylish digs to his 421,000 Instagram followers. Johannes has revealed his sleek grey kitchen, complete with shiny cabinets and stainless steel touches, on his social media. His open-plan living area boasts a massive mirror, which Johannes has used to flaunt his impressively toned body in a series of selfies. The living space features wooden floors and a large book-filled shelving unit for when Johannes isn’t tearing up the dance floor.

Johannes, who joined the Strictly professional line-up in 2018, has chosen a neutral colour palette for his home, with white walls and sleek wooden flooring – the perfect spot for him to practise his dance moves. His cosy living room is complete with plush curtains and a TV, as seen in the background of a snap featuring a RuPaul’s Drag Race gift box. Originally from Zamdela Sasolburg in South Africa, the talented star began his journey towards a professional dancing career at just seven years old.

Falling head over heels for the allure and precision of dance, Johannes Radebe committed 13 years to mastering his moves locally, rising up the Latin scene before embracing Ballroom, African Contemporary, and Jazz. He soon began sweeping up trophies in national competitions and set out to conquer dance floors across the globe, leaving South Africa at 21 to chase his dreams. His big break came in 2014 on Strictly Come Dancing SA, followed by a spell on Dancing With The Stars SA in 2018, which then saw him snapped up by BBC chiefs and brought to the UK.

It was in 2019 that Johannes shot to stardom on our screens, being paired with ex-Corrie actress Catherine Tyldesley. Winning over the nation’s heart, he danced his way to securing a partner in 2020 as well, taking Caroline Quentin to eighth place on the leaderboard. On joining Strictly, he expressed his awe: “Joining Strictly Come Dancing is one of the greatest achievements of my dancing career. It is such an honour to be chosen to be a part of an incredible cast and be part of one of the biggest shows that is celebrated worldwide.”Story SavedYou can find this story in My Bookmarks.Or by navigating to the user icon in the top right.Follow OK!
