Privacy NoticeStrictly Come Dancing judge Motsi Mabuse, 43, is well-versed at judging style, elegance and creativity when it comes to dance routines. And her home, which she shares with her husband Evgenij Voznyuk and their five-year-old daughter, also embodies those qualities. Motsi joined the Strictly juding panel in 2019, a year after giving birth to their daughter, whom she’s never publicly named. However, she did once slip up on Strictly when appraising contestant Layton Williams’ dancing, saying: “The centre is too open, so if it’s open it’s difficult for [beginning of her daughter’s name]. I’m sorry. I just said my daughter’s name!”. The star is more open about her lavish home, occasionally sharing snippets on Instagram. Let’s take a look inside…

We love this edgy modern artwork

Motsi’s living room is pure glamour with this very stylish silver velvet sofa, which is perfect for lounging in couture. The walls are painted a beige colour and above is a large piece of modern art that is filled with all different jewell-like colours. Again looking so chic, Motsi shared with her followers a glimpse inside her bedroom. On the wall is some collage-inspired modern art that has a rock and roll edge to it, which is lit from beneath. The walls are cream and she has kept her bedsheets crisp and white to enable the art to not be overshadowed.

There is so much natural light in her front room

In this snap of her front room we can see that the star has has very glossy cream tiles, as well as a white fluffy rug. The sleek room also has glossy white cabinets and glass patio doors which flood the room with natural light. We can also see that the family have a large garden complete with an immaculate lawn and a patio complete with outdoor dining furniture.

In this image we are afforded a glimpse at another part of the house which has a wooden floor. This leads onto a dining area with fashionable white furniture; a circular table and four matching glossy white chairs. The walls are painted cream and down a slight step we can see that she has leather sofas that face each other; perfect for entertaining.

Motsi lives in Germany with her husband, Evgenij Vozynuk

When Motsi joined the panel five years ago, she was stepping into the ballet pumps of departing judge, national treasure Darcey Bussell. And although the pair’s demeanour couldn’t have been more different, just as Darcey’s had before her, Motsi’s experience and wisdom shone through from day one. Hardly surprising, with Motsi’s history judging Let’s Dance – Germany’s version of Strictly – since 2011, and as a pro on the show for two series before that. When the empty chair came up on the UK panel, Motsi recalls that she may have manifested her job offer during a phone call to her sister, former Strictly pro Oti. “I learned that Darcey was stopping, so I called Oti and was like, ‘What’s happening over there?’” she says. “She said she didn’t know, so I joked that they should call me, and we laughed. Three weeks later, I called her back and said, ‘They called me!’ and we laughed again! Being called for Strictly was like the hard work paid off,” she adds. “Like I’d been seen in some way.”Story SavedYou can find this story in  My Bookmarks.Or by navigating to the user icon in the top right.Follow OK!
