She previously told The Sun: “In five weeks time I’m going to Santorini with my best friends for our delayed 40th birthday. Her and I have been laughing because I don’t do much exercise, I don’t have much sleep, I eat loads of food, I eat loads of sweets, I drink loads of alcohol, so I’ve actually started exercising, I’ve stopped eating sweets.” Laura went on to reveal that while she felt “sad” she was impressed with her results. She added: “I feel sad I’m not having sweets but also when you see the results, I ran my best 5k the other day, now I understand why people say ‘oh exercise is amazing.” Laura regularly wows GMB viewers with her glamorous looks and stylish outfits. Fans were recently left stunned when they found out Laura’s real age, with many having presumed the weather presenter to be much younger than 43. On 10 October, the GMB star celebrated her birthday, with hosts Susanna Reid and Ed Balls paying tribute to her on the ITV show. Ed, 57, had made Laura her very own birthday cake as he presented the creation live on air in the studio which had a weather theme, leaving Laura delighted. The presenter said: “I feel like I don’t want to eat it but I obviously will! I actually had to count on my fingers and figure out what year it is and what year I was born to figure out I’m 43 today!” with her co-stars commenting she looked “fantastic”.
