Privacy NoticeMargie Cooper is recognised for her knack of discovering hidden treasures across the country that would otherwise be left forgotten in someone’s attic. Since 1985, she has been a familiar face on the BBC’s Antiques Roadshow and also lends her expertise to the channel’s spin-off show, Antiques Road Trip. Born in Lancashire in 1949, Margie had a ‘secret’ career before discovering a love of antiques – she initially graced the covers of numerous magazines as a fashion model. In addition to being a trained journalist, Margie regularly pens columns about antiques for various publications, further cementing her status as a TV personality. Despite her public persona, Margie is known to be quite private, keeping her personal life away from the limelight. While it’s hard to pin down her exact net worth, online sources estimate her collection of assets to be around £1.1 million, reports MyLondon. She shares her life in Cheshire with her long-time husband Mick. The couple have kept their wedding date under wraps, but it’s known they enjoyed a lengthy relationship before tying the knot.

Margie and Mick are proud parents to two grown-up sons, who have tied the knot and begun their own families. The 75 year old antiques aficionado isn’t much of a social media butterfly. Having turned her Instagram account public, when it was previously on a private setting, she shares posts now and then to her modest following of 1,032. Most recently she posed with friends for her birthday at an Italian resaurant, saying on Instagram: “Don’t you just love Birthdays!!! Thanks to all my lovely friends for their messages. Really appreciate it. You made my day.”Story SavedYou can find this story in  My Bookmarks.Or by navigating to the user icon in the top right.Follow OK!
