Imogen Thomas: ‘I’ve had three boob jobs for free – if my girls want surgery I’ll support them’
Chatting to The Sun about his 2020 transformation, he revealed: ”I have been on a weird diet of a 1,000 calories. Adele looks great and she has inspired me,” reports Wales Online. The NHS advises against following extremely low-calorie diets unless specifically instructed to do so. The suggested daily calorie intake is 2,500 for men and 2,000 for women. To achieve his weight loss, Alan also reportedly limited himself to 1,000 calories each day, just like Adele, and followed the Sirtfood Diet. This diet involves eating specific ‘sirtfoods’, such as kale, red wine, strawberries, turmeric, chillies, coffee, and dark chocolate. These foods are believed to stimulate the production of sirtuins, which can aid in weight loss. If you’re on the Sirtfood Diet, it’s also recommended to have three green juices each day. Other celebs who’ve tried this diet include Jodie Kidd and Lorraine Pascale.
Alan split from husband Paul Drayton after four years together
Alan shared a further snap from Italy last year, with fans commenting on how good he looked
Healthline suggests that the Sirtfood Diet could aid in weight loss due to its low-calorie foods. However, they also warn that weight might pile back on once normal eating resumes. Alan shared a further snap from Italy last year, during the filming of Amanda & Alan’s Italian Job, with fans saying commenting on how good he looked. “Looking amazing! Love the shirt,” said one person, with another adding: “Your one gorgeous man,” and a third penning: “Looking fab.” Alan also hired a personal trainer to get in shape after setting his sights on a ‘revenge body’ following his split from husband Paul Drayton in January 2022 after four years together. Speaking to trainer Joe Wicks, Alan said: “I have just gone through a divorce so I told the trainer I want a revenge body. But I think he thought I said I wanted a blancmange body.” During the episode of Alan’s Life is A Beach podcast, Alan asked Joe for tips on getting ‘beach body’ ready. Joe said: “Tap into the mental health benefits of exercise. If you wake up with energy, you’ve got the time to exercise, you’ll want to do it for your mind to feel less stress, especially when you are going through something emotional. “Do it for those reasons and the fat loss will come.” Changing Ends is back on ITV1 and ITVX on Saturday, 20 July at 9pm and 9.30pmStory SavedYou can find this story in  My Bookmarks.Or by navigating to the user icon in the top right.Follow OK!
