Originally, they planned to have three children, but they ended up with a whopping 22, attracting a great deal of media attention. Since their rise to fame, they’ve shared several wedding photos online, much to the delight of their fans who celebrate their enduring love. Sue Radford shared a nostalgic throwback photo from her wedding day to mark her and husband Noel’s 25th anniversary back in 2017. She lovingly captioned the picture: “25 years ago today I married my soulmate. Who would have thought 25 years later we’d of just welcomed our 20th child into our family! I couldn’t love this man anymore if I tried. Happy silver wedding anniversary to us.”

What do Sue and Noel Radford do? The pair run a pie business together and the shift to working together professionally did not come without its challenges. “To start with it did really well,” Noel explained. “It was doing good – and then not long here – foot-and-mouth hits the country and to be honest I think Cumbria was one of the worst affected areas.” Sue added: “I can’t even describe it, it just caused so much stress. You used to go to bed thinking about the debt, you’d wake up thinking about the debt, you’d wake up during the night thinking about the debt.” Despite the strain parenting has on a marriage, this financial turmoil was far more worrying. Sue continued: “If anything was going to have caused us to get a divorce, it was this. Looking back now, it was a time where I genuinely thought our marriage was not gonna pull through that.”
