Elma Pazar might be watching Love Island: All Stars back through her fingers, according to her pal and ex-Islander Shaughna Phillips. Elma, who has become a favourite on TOWIE, has found romance on the ITV2 hit when she coupled up with Sammy Root, but has also stirred the pot with some villa drama, notably butting heads with Ekin-Su Culculoglu and Curtis Pritchard. Ater Ekin-Su kissed Sammy during the sizzling heart rate challenge, tension began to brew between her and Elma. And pal Shaughna says, “I really like Elma and I know her briefly from outside and being in the same social circles. I see both sides. I think Ekin’s handled it really well and I think when Elma comes out, she’ll probably cringe at some of the things that’s happened and how it’s been portrayed.”
Shaughna praised how Ekin-Su has handled the drama with Elma
Drawing from her own time in the villa, Shaughna, who is working with SlotsCalendar, confessed that little things can blow up quickly, saying: “I do feel like, when you’re in there, the smallest thing that you wouldn’t even spend 10 minutes thinking about in outside world becomes the biggest thing in there. I remember I had it in my season. If someone was to come in for the person you’re coupled up with, you would get territorial. It’s not it’s not because you’re head over heels in love with the the person you’re with, but you just take it a little bit more personally. It’s like, ‘Wow, you know that I’m with them, so why are you trying to stir the pot? ‘”. Following the tiff between Love Island’s Ekin-Su and Elma, fans have branded Elma a ‘mean girl,’ slamming her for what seems to be an attitude change after being voted as the viewers’ favourite. One viewer expressed disappointment online: “Elma really isn’t coming off well since being voted as the favourite girl is she? I doubt she’s the favourite girl now.”

Echoing this sentiment, another added: “Elma being voters’ favourite girl must have gone to her head because since that she’s been absolutely vile and unwatchable please remove her she is so unkind.”, reports the Mirror. Yet, Shaughna, familiar with the sting of public judgement, implores fans to remember the humanity of those on TV. “People get so into it, which I get, but I wish they would realise that they are still people at the end of the day. I’m pretty sure we’ve all said things and done things that we’ve regretted. I’ve definitely done it where I’ve had a disagreement at work and then I come home and I’m like, ‘Oh my God, I’m so embarrassed about myself’. So, yeah, I just think people need to take it with a pinch of salt rather than getting really riled up about it,” she reflects.
