(Photo by Lionel Hahn/Getty Images)Champions League football returns this week and we’re down to the knockout stage of the competition. Last year’s beaten finalists Manchester City take on champions of Portugal Sporting Lisbon, while 2019 winners Liverpool face Italian champions Inter Milan. Away from the English sides, two giants of European football face one another in what many would regard as the pick of the Last 16 ties: Paris St Germain versus Real Madrid. All eyes will be on Lionel Messi, up against his former foes and whose time in the French capital has been somewhat muted so far. PSG also welcome back former boss Carlo Ancelotti, who it’s safe to safe is no stranger to the tournament having won it twice as a player and three times as a manager, including Madrid’s famed #10, ‘La Decima’.
