Privacy NoticePrince William has left royal fans stunned after he opted an uncharacteristically rugged look. The Prince of Wales and Kate Middleton appeared in a video earlier this month and took the opportunity to congratulate Team GB athletes following the Olympic Games in Paris this year. Kate could be heard saying: “From all of us watching at home, congratulations to Team GB.” William then chimed in: “Well done on all you’ve achieved, you’ve been an inspiration to us all.” But it wasn’t their well-wishes that had tongues wagging – it was William’s new beard. “Don’t know about you but he is my king.” And turns out, other people agree. One person wrote: “He’s hot,” while another agreed: “He’s so hot.” A third added: “Handsome future king,” and a fourth said: “What a tan and a beard can do,” followed by a heart-eyes emoji. But others were quick to comment this wasn’t the first time William had sported facial hair. “He’s already had a beard…” one wrote. In a video posted back in March, the Princess of Wales said doctors had found the cancer during tests after she underwent abdominal surgery in January of this year. “The surgery was successful,” she said. “However, tests after the operation found cancer had been present. “My medical team therefore advised that I should undergo a course of preventative chemotherapy and I am now in the early stages of that treatment. “This of course came as a huge shock, and William and I have been doing everything we can to process and manage this privately for the sake of our young family.”Story SavedYou can find this story in  My Bookmarks.Or by navigating to the user icon in the top right.Follow OK!
