The former Coronation Street actress risked her spot on the dating agency by revealing her under-the-radar romance with Robbie Talbot, ex-striker for Morecambe and Burton Albion. She was recently spotted getting cosy with the former footballer, despite trying to find love on E4’s Celebs Go Dating. It’s believed that the pair have been dating since May, but Helen has reportedly tried to keep the relationship under wraps ahead of her appearance on E4’s Celebs Go Dating, which started on 19 August.

Now, in a twist on tonight’s episode, Helen brought Robbie onto the programme after producers consented to include him, marking a first for the agency. Viewers were left confused, especially since Helen had shared a kiss with another contestant in a previous episode. One viewer posted online: “So her boyfriend is ok with her snogging other boys? Gross.” Another commented: “I’d run a mile If I was hellens Man! She’s on a dating agency, kissing other men and has man… it’s a Nope from me.” Others found humour in the situation, with one tweeting: “We can talk about how I snogged a guy and led him to believe I liked dating him even though I was with you hahahahahaha.. ha… ahhhh.” During the awkward exchange, Helen mentioned to Robbie: “So I basically came clean at the agency about me and you,” and he simply responded, “Oh yeah?” She explained that the agents wanted to meet him, prompting puzzled Robbie to reply: “What do you mean?” Helen clarified: “Like come to see the agents with me as my boyfriend.” His query of “And what?” was met with Helens unsure: “I don’t know, I think they just want to kind of meet you.” Sign up to OK!’s daily newsletter to get updates sent to your inbox for free

A source close to the former Coronation Street actress has spilled the beans on her new relationship, reports the Daily Star. “Helen’s absolutely smitten, they look so good together. She deserves to be happy after everything she’s been through recently. She’s tried to keep things out of the public eye but that’s become difficult as their feelings have grown for each other. Helen made no secret of her new relationship at her party, but it is still early days,” The Sun reported. Insiders claim that producers were eager to retain the ex- I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here! star despite the one non-negotiable rule: participants must be single. It is now thought that eager E4 execs found a way to work Helen’s beau Robbie into the mix. Helen split from footballer Scott Sinclair – the father of her three children, Matilda, nine, Delilah, six, and three-year-old Charlie – in 2022, after a 13-year relationship. She later revealed that the painful break-up was so bad, it led to a psychotic breakdown.
