Privacy NoticeVictoria Beckham took to Instagram on Friday, proudly announcing that her 13 year old daughter Harper is ‘following in Mummy’s footsteps’. The 50 year old fashion designer is currently in New York to launch her latest perfume, Reverie. Harper and dad David, 49, have also flown out to the city, where the family visited a sensory immersion exhibit to jot down their dreams and stick them on a wall. Playing on the name of her mum’s new fragrance – Reverie, meaning daydream – Harper wrote on two pieces of card that she hopes to ‘create an amazing brand when I’m older’. The teenager also expressed her wish for ‘everyone to be happy in life’. Thrilled by Harper’s aspirations to create her own brand, Victoria posted: “ Harper Seven following in mummy’s footsteps and putting her hopes and dreams out there.”

Victoria was seen in casual attire, sporting flared jeans and a grey jumper, while Harper sported a similar look with a grey hoodie and light wash jeans. After high-profile collaborations with other brands, Victoria launched her own label in 2008 and introduced Victoria Beckham Beauty in 2019. Last year, Victoria’s passion project turned a profit for the first time in 15 years. Speaking to Vogue, she said: “It’s such an exciting time. This year, we made a profit. This takes time, especially for an independent brand,” she said of her brand. “Now that I have laid down the groundwork for the house, the real work can begin.”

Victoria was spotted in New York with a film crew earlier on Friday. It was revealed in August that Victoria is set to film an all-revealing documentary about her fashion brand after securing a massive deal with Netflix. The film will provide a glimpse into her professional life following the success of her husband David’s BAFTA and Emmy-nominated docuseries BECKHAM on the streaming platform. The adored mum will delve into her fashion brand in the documentary, tracing her journey as she gears up for Paris Fashion Week next year. Her upcoming documentary will give fans a ‘behind-the-scenes’ look at her transformation from Spice Girl to creative director of her thriving fashion and beauty brand. Harper isn’t the only Beckham offspring with aspirations of launching their own brand. Just last week, their eldest son Brooklyn, 25, unveiled his latest culinary project Cloud23 – a hot sauce.

Priced at £15 per bottle, the eldest Beckham child has concocted two flavours, Hot Habanero and Sweet Jalapeno, along with a line of clothing merchandise. He was accompanied at the launch event by his wife Nicola Peltz, 29, who lovingly held his hand as they navigated the store, before having fun in a shopping trolley to promote the product.
