One of these is Greggs, which has finally revealed its Christmas menu for the year and the exact date it hit shops. One of the bakery chain’s new festive treats is their signature festive bake, but customers will also be able to get their hands on some new products this year. Most products also have a vegan alternative for those who prefer a plant based alternative. Greggs will be adding ten items to its Christmas menu and they’ll be available in store from Thursday, November 10.

If you’ve never tried one, the festive bake contains pieces of chicken breast, sage and onion stuffing, plus bacon, in a sage and cranberry sauce. The chain’s festive bake returns to stores later this week – costing £1.80. It’s made from a delicious crumb-topped pastry, filled with pieces of cooked chicken, sage and onion stuffing and cooked sweetcure bacon, covered in a creamy sage & cranberry sauce. Greggs also offers a vegan festive bake filled with Quorn pieces, sage and onion stuffing and a vegan bacon crumb, finished with a sage and cranberry sauce encased in puff pastry. The vegan alternative also costs £1.80.

The pigs under blankets baguette will also make a return – costing £3.50 and coming in at 543 calories. Greggs calls it a tasty baguette with all the trimmings – except sprouts. It’s made up of cooked pork sausages with smoked sweetcure bacon topped with pork, onion and sage stuffing and garnished with cranberry and port sauce in a freshly baked crusty white baguette. Like the festive bake, the baguette has seen its prices upped compared to last year. In 2021, the pigs under blankets baguette cost £3.20 – so this year it’s up by 30p.

Greggs has added a new vegan turkey-free and stuffing baguette to its festive menu – costing £3.50. The baguette is made with tasty sage and onion plant-based goujons developed with the help of our friends at THIS!â„¢, covered in onion gravy and garnished with a classic cranberry and port sauce. Greggs has also turned a Christmas dinner into a handy, enjoy on-the-go soup and costs £2.30.

The soup is made with diced smoked bacon, pork sausage, tasty chicken, turkey, sage and onion stuffing and vegetables, blended with a delicious mix of herbs and spices. The Christmas lunch soup was available last year but cost 30p less at £2. To wash your lunch down, you can choose from a selection of three festive hot drinks. First up is the mint mocha topped with cream and chocolate sprinkles. It costs £2.30. The same drink cost 35p less last year.
