The 69 year old TV star is currently soaking up the sun on a getaway to Majorca with her husband Dave Griffiths, 68 and the beloved Channel 4 pair, who joined the show in 2015, have been keeping fans updated via their social media. In their latest Instagram post, shared earlier this week, the duo shared a glimpse from a beach day in Alcudia. In the video, Shirley could be seen exiting the ocean adorned as she sported a vibrant bikini while draped in what looked like seaweed. In the background Dave could be heard giving playful commentary as Shirley approached, leading to a cheeky splash fight on the shore.

In a nod to the classic James Bond film, Dave comparedhis wife to Ursula Andress, who is famously known as Honey Ryder in the 1962 film Dr. No and who made a memorable entrance in a white bikini. In the voiceover the TV personality joked: “Oh here we go! Here’s Shirley… Ursula Undress, uh? More like Dr Ooh than Dr No. Jesus!,” reports the Mirror. Captioning the clip, the pair wrote: “Messing about in the water #gogglebox #summer Ursula Undress.” The post has quickly racked up over 5,000 likes, and fans have flocked to the comments section to show their support for the pair, as well as gush over Shirley in the clip. “Bond girl 2024,” wrote one.

“Our Bond girl. Stunning Shirley. Hope you both have a brilliant holiday,” another added. “Her Bond girl moment,” a third wrote. It wasn’t just the playful nods to James Bond that caught attention. Shirley received heaps of praise for her appearance as well. One admirer gushed: “Shirl you look bloody amazing … rocking that bikini … go girl!,” while another added: “Shirley, you’ve got a cracking figure.” The compliments kept coming, with someone else saying: “You look amazing [Shirley]. Glad you and Dave are having a great time.” Another commented: “Wow, Shirley looks amazing in her bikini.”

The pair’s holiday comes after Dave headed to Dubai with their son Simon, with the TV star revealing that he’d been missing his wife while he was away.
