Privacy Notice Gogglebox’s latest instalment had our beloved British families serve up more hilarious commentary on the nation’s current TV offerings. The Siddiqui family from Derby are regulars on the Channel 4 show – and one of them had a particularly amusing anecdote to share this episode. Raza Siddiqui dropped a bombshell on his dad Sid and brother Baasit when he shared a cringeworthy revelation about an unfortunate incident at the swimming pool. He admitted that after finishing his swim, he reached for his bag only to find he’d forgotten something crucial. He recounted the mortifying moment, saying: “So I went the other day and my bag felt kind of light. So, I did my swimming session, I went back to the changing room, put my briefs on and my T-shirt on.

“And I realised I didn’t have any shorts!” Raza confessed, recounting how he had to sneak out of the pool in his minimal attire. “So I had to sheepishly get out of the swimming baths without anybody seeing me in my briefs and my T-shirt.” The Siddiqui clan couldn’t contain their laughter as Raza explained his strategic dash from car to home: “I had to drive home, park on the drive and then quickly run out of the car and into my house in just my pants and T-shirt!” reports the Mirror. That wasn’t the only part of the show that saw people talk about getting their kit off, as later in the episode, Channel 4 revealed the brand new dating show, Dating Naked. The show, which is presented by Rylan Clark, was met with a mixed reaction from the families.

While Sophie Sandiford seemed eager for the risque show, Mary Killen dismissed it as “another excuse for people to perve.” Baasit couldn’t resist making a cheeky quip about the lack of a naked version of a beloved baking show, suggesting it could be called: “The Great British Nake-Off.” The Gogglebox favourites were gobsmacked as they tuned in to see daters strip down to their birthday suits for romance. In a chat with RadioTimes.com, Rylan shared his initial shock upon being offered the hosting gig for the daring series. He revealed: “The guys from Paramount Plus called me and said, ‘This is something we’d like you to do,’ and I was like, ‘I’m sorry, what? I don’t understand what you mean.’ They were like, ‘Yeah, they’re naked, dating, and you see everything.'”Story SavedYou can find this story in  My Bookmarks.Or by navigating to the user icon in the top right.Follow OK!
