Privacy NoticeThere’s no doubt about, Celebrity SAS is a difficult show to watch – from insane challenges to tough conditions, viewers at home are left shocked. So we can’t imagine how it feels to actually take part in the show. “It was one of the best moments of my life,” latest winner Georgia Harrison exclusively told OK!. And, although we were surprised at her answer, the 29 year old did let slip a few behind the scenes secrets, specifically when it comes to those intense interrogation scenes. She revealed: “I’ve been a fan of the show for years and thought “surely it’s not as bad as you see on screen” but it couldn’t be any more real. It’s actually harder. For example, the interrogations last 24 hours – but for TV, they’re condensed in to a 20-minute edit.

“But it was the cold that I struggled with most. I despise being cold and, at times, we were shivering for 20 hours. That breaks your morale. But on the flipside, when you hear stories of being on the frontline from the instructors, you feel inspired to become a better version of yourself.” Despite their harsh tactics though, Georgia – who has also starred on The Only Way Is Essex and Love Island – revealed the show allowed her to learn a lot about herself. She said: “I learnt how mentally strong I can be. It was such an emotional experience. I had to constantly overcome thoughts of wanting to quit, so it tested my mental strength and willpower. Watching back, I see how resilient I am. Now I feel like I can handle most situations that come at me in life. It really strips you of your ego, especially being interrogated.”

Back in 2020, Georgia became a victim of revenge porn, when her Celebrity Big Brother star ex Stephen Bear secretly filmed them having sex and shared the video online. He was sentenced to 21 months in prison last March, but was released early in January this year. After bravely waiving her right to anonymity, Georgia then filmed her experience for the powerful ITV documentary, Revenge Porn: Georgia Vs Bear. The TV star also addressed her revenge porn ordeal on the show, and said: “It was a hard thing to talk about in such a close environment to three very manly men. But it’s something I’ve lived through and spoken about in the past. It’s shaped the last few years of my life, so it was a good place to not only open up about it, but also put it to bed a little.”Story SavedYou can find this story in  My Bookmarks.Or by navigating to the user icon in the top right.Follow OK!
