Privacy Notice Georgia Harrison has just been passed the extremely gruelling Celebrity SAS course alongside pro boxer Lani Daniels. Appearing on The Only Way Is Essex and Love Island has allowed her to know a thing or two about reality TV shows so when she sees her SAS castmate Pete Wicks on Strictly Come Dancing, Georgia bursts with joy. Speaking exclusively to OK!, Georgia, 29, is “absolutely” supporting him and she had nothing but positive words to say about Pete participating in the BBC hit show. “He’s smashing it and it’s so far out of his comfort zone but he’s throwing himself into it. I’m really proud of him. I doubt it’s an easy thing to do.” Georgia and Pete faced gruelling challenges throughout the series which was filmed in New Zealand, from intense rescue missions to abseiling, vicious fighting to terrifying simulations and mock ambushes. Pete recently joked Strictly is harder than Celebrity SAS and while Georgia admits, “I can see what he means. Both kinds of training, I imagine, are very full on but dancing is something you need to be naturally good at,” she also said Strictly would be “a huge struggle for me – I’m not very co-ordinated.”

The TOWIE hunk, 35, is currently dancing week in and week out with professional dancer Jowita Przystal. He quit Celebrity SAS for a second time amid painful memories of his mother. Viewers tuned in to an emotional episode of the show, in which the TOWIE star told the instructors: “I’ve lost the fight, I’ve got nothing left, my head is not in it.” The star has now opened up about the moments before he unravelled, revealing he was asked to write an emotional letter to his mother, who he saved from a suicide attempt when he was just 12 years old. “I decided that night that I was in too deep,” the Strictly Come Dancing star told The Sun. “I hadn’t prepared for the reading out of the letters,” Pete said. “I thought, ‘I need to go and say what I’ve said in this letter to my mum’.”

It was Georgia and Lani who were the last two standing on Celebrity SAS – and were both visibly relieved when they were told they’d passed the course. The two ladies quickly celebrated with a hug to which former Love Island star Georgia quickly told the staff members: “That was brutal, you are sick.” She also added: “I don’t know if I feel happy yet, I’m so traumatised.” In tough scenes that aired on Monday (14 October), Georgia found herself locked in a dog cage, while fellow contestants Bianca and Lani threw ice-cold water over her. Talking to The Sun about the final mission, Georgia confessed candidly that it was one of the “hardest” things she has ever done.

She said: “I really did think that the interrogation was going to be easy, because I would watch it on TV and think, “If that was me, I wouldn’t be shaking on the floor,” but I really underestimated it. I was thinking that I could meditate through it, but it’s just so, so tough. “I was thinking that I could meditate through it, but it’s just so, so tough. You lose all understanding of your surroundings. I was definitely hallucinating. It’s awful, excruciatingly hard, degrading, demoralising and one of the hardest things I’ve ever done in my life.” If you’ve been affected by any of the issues in this story you can contact Samaritans in the UK and Ireland on freephone 116 123, or email jo@samaritans.org or jo@samaritans.ie.Story SavedYou can find this story in  My Bookmarks.Or by navigating to the user icon in the top right.Follow OK!
