Privacy NoticeLife for sisters Demi and Frankie Sims has been nothing short of a rollercoaster ride, lately. They uprooted to LA in early 2023 to film their hit reality show, House of Sims, alongside sister Chloe, 42, and brother Charlie, 31, and his 32 year old girlfriend, Georgia Shults. However, tensions soon arose – and things soon reached boiling point with a massive row – over a WiFi bill – that has caused an ongoing rift between four siblings, who have been at odds ever since. This led to Demi and Frankie heading back home to Essex, leaving Charlie and Chloe in the US. “We’re still finding our feet,” Frankie explained, as speaking exclusively to OK! at the National Reality TV Awards 2024, where their Netflix show picked up the gong for Most Inspiring TV Show, she admitted the sisters had not built bridges. Now, as they navigate the next chapter in their lives, Demi, 27, and Frankie, 28, could even be opening their hearts to love. Demi and former Love Island star Eve Gale shocked fans earlier this year when they announced their romance, with the pair sharing that they had been enjoying dates with one another

However, while things appeared to be going strong for the two beauties when OK! last caught up with them, Demi has now confirmed that she is still single. But one person who could be bringing their new partner home to meet the family soon is their cousin, Joey Essex, who just left the Love Island villa. Here, Frankie and Demi lift the lid on the new ‘Mrs Joey Essex’, why they ditched life in LA to return to their Essex roots – and whether they’d ever make an explosive return to TOWIE… Hi both! We still can’t believe your cousin Joey was on Love Island – did you guys tune in? Demi: He was so entertaining. You have got to give it to the guy, he is TV gold. Frankie: I feel like, without him on the show, a lot of episodes would have been boring – so he did really well with bringing the entertainment. He brought a lot of drama. Demi: I am just so proud of him for meeting Jessy. She is a lovely girl and when I look at them two together it makes me emotional.

Wow, sounds promising. Have you met Jessy yet? Frankie : No we haven’t and I said to my parents I can’t wait because she could potentially be a new family member. Demi: She could be Mrs Essex. Frankie: I really like her. Out of all the girls in there, I would have selected her. She is just so chill and she seems like us. Demi: She will fit in well with the family and it is true what Joey said, she doesn’t seem like a ‘yes girl’. I think that is really important. Why do you think Joe ended up picking Jessy rather than Grace Jackson, or Samantha Kenny? Frankie : I feel like Joey just likes girls that don’t have glam make-up,he just likes the natural look. When Jessy walked in – although Samantha and Grace are beautiful and so lovely – she looks like the girls that Joey brings home to us. Do you think the ‘Joey Essex lifestyle’ could hinder their relationship? Demi: I think Jessy has that lifestyle as well, now that they’ve left the villa. They are both going to work together and they could do really well. They could go to PAs together or do ADs together and, as long as they both work as a team, they will be perfect. Frankie: And Joey hasn’t dated someone in the public eye since Sam Faiers. It will be good for him because he doesn’t have to explain his lifestyle to Jessy because she is part of it, so it might work this time.

Would either of you ever give Love Island a go? Demi: Yes, I would love to do it. I think it is a once in a lifetime experience. If you need me – I’m here, babes. Is love on the cards for either of you? Demi: I am always single, I have been single for three years. I date people here and there as you have probably seen [laughs] but I am just really waiting for the one to come along and when she comes, I will know. Frankie : I have recently met someone and it is going well. We just got back from Ibiza for a romantic holiday but I feel like it is the right time because I’m 30 in a few months. We’ve partied all of our 20s and we have done so many TV shows, but now I’ve met someone at the right time, so I feel really content and happy. He isn’t in the public eye and I want to keep it that way. We noticed you moved back to Essex from LA… how are things going? Frankie: We’re good, we are still adjusting. We’ve got a really exciting project coming up and are really busy at the moment. We can’t say anything about it just yet, though!

What was life in LA like for you – do you miss it at all? Demi: It was nice. We both really enjoyed it in LA but our hearts and our homes are in Essex. Frankie: It was fun and an amazing experience . We moved there for about a year but it got to the point where enough was enough and we just had to come home. Demi: I missed my parents so much. Is your sister Chloe still out there? Are you talking at all? Frankie: We don’t know. We are out of the loop so everything is pretty much the same as how it was. Some TOWIE members are joining the show again – would you ever consider? Frankie: We haven’t done it for ages, but… never say never!
