Now, there are no excuses thanks to Miguel Barclay, who has come up with a recipe for a delicious breakfast bar that you can grab and go and will keep you full all day. Here’s how to make them… Peanut butter breakfast bars Makes 8

These delicious peanut butter breakfast bars can be found in Slimming One Pound Meals by Miguel Barclay

Ingredients 1 mug of rolled oats Handful of raisins 2 tbsp smooth peanut butter 2 tbsp honey 1 egg Method Preheat your oven to 180°C/160°C fan/gas mark 4 and line a small baking tin with greaseproof paper. Mix together the oats, raisins, peanut butter, honey and egg in a bowl until well combined. Transfer the mixture to the lined tin and press down with the back of a spoon (the mixture should be 2cm thick). Bake for about 20 minutes, then leave to cool before chopping into neat bars.
