However, not everyone was extended an invitation, leaving some notable faces off the exclusive guest list. Charlie Curtis, formerly married to Eve Reid on the show, was devastated to discover she hadn’t been included. She previously expressed her disappointment to MailOnline, saying: “I wasn’t invited. It really upset me; I was so upset when they told me I wasn’t going. I felt so disheartened. I wanted to go back with the girls, as I’m friends with them now, but no one saw any of us being friends on screen,” reports the Daily Record. Charlie and Eve were among the initial couples to tie the knot on the show, but despite a promising start, their relationship began to unravel during their Mexican honeymoon.
Charlie and Eve won’t be back after splitting
Tensions escalated to the point where Eve relocated to a separate room, as the couple grappled with issues of trust and communication. One heated argument even saw Charlie hurl her wedding ring at Eve. Eventually, the pair decided to part ways and leave the show during a Commitment Ceremony. Charlie reflected: “I’m conflicted. Yes, it’s the right decision but it’s still tough walking away from people you have feelings for.” Other notable absentees from the reunion include Polly Sellman, Luke Debono, Richelle Cade, Ross McCarthy, and several others. Married At First Sight: The Reunion airs on Monday 24 February at 9pm on E4
