Privacy NoticeEmmerdale fans watched as a character witnessed something incriminating about evil Tom King on Monday night, 7 October. This could be the beginning of the end for Tom, with viewers hoping that this character will bring him down. Tom discovered his lost iPad at Moira Dingle’s place, after her young son Isaac Dingle had brought it there. Isaac had borrowed it from his friend Carl Holliday, who happens to be Tom’s younger cousin. They’d used it to play video games, oblivious to the importance of the device and its connection to Tom’s abuse of his ex-wife Belle Dingle. The iPad contains footage where he secretly filmed Belle in their home. It also holds evidence that could prove he was abusive and stalked Belle.

Belle needs this proof after she reported Tom to the police for domestic violence, while admitting to attacking him with an axe. The police are eager to locate the iPad, unaware that Tom now has it, having successfully retrieved it from Moira’s house when she wasn’t there, reports the Mirror. Moira had actually seen the footage but forgot about it and the iPad after suffering a seizure, following her brain tumour diagnosis. Tom is convinced he’s won and Belle will lose in court. He was seen gloating about this on Monday, believing that now he had the iPad, she had no evidence against him. He hinted that she would not be believed and would be sent to jail, trying to deter her from pursuing her allegations.

However, when he returned home, he decided to destroy the iPad in a rage. The scene showed Tom shattering it into pieces outside the house with a rock, evidently trying to dispose of it before anyone else spotted it. But someone witnessed Tom’s fury – young Carl watched on as Tom smashed the device to smithereens. With a witness to his cover-up, will Carl spill the beans and reveal what he saw? Viewers took to X, as one person said: “One day Tom has an axe in his back. The next he’s bashing a tablet to pieces with a rock!!!#Emmerdale.” Another commented: “So once again all the evidence Belle needs was unknowingly right there in front of her really? Just how totally f***ing cocky is Tom? Full on destroying the laptop in broad daylight, anyone could of seen not just Carl & what about the cloud?” A third viewer said: ” Nobody in the village sees this? Belle should have her phone on every time Tom talks to her. I just hope all the videos from the iPad is backed up on the cloud.”Story SavedYou can find this story in  My Bookmarks.Or by navigating to the user icon in the top right.Follow OK!
