Emmerdale viewers were quick to point out a few errors in Tuesday night’s dramatic limo crash scene on an icy lake. Fans watched as Amy (Natalie Ann Jamieson) was pulled from the water by Tracy (Amy Walsh), while Kerry (Laura Norton) and Leyla (Roxy Shahidi) managed to escape the sinking limo as the ice cracked beneath them. The episode ended with the fate of Amy, Leyla, Liam and Noah hanging in the balance as they were rushed to hospital. However, despite the high drama, fans had a few gripes about the chilly scenes. One viewer took to social media to say: “#Emmerdale come on. Ice so thin one can go through but then they can walk on it. It’s so cold the ice is thick enough to support a car but no cold breath from the actors as they speak. Cain lying on WET GRASS and no ice in the same village. Come on you are making Corrie appear real.” Another fan chimed in: “Don’t see their breath seeing it’s supposed to be freezing cold,” while one noted: “You saw ice cracking then limo sink then aerial views made it look like “lake” was frozen over. I get scenes aren’t shot in order but at least try…” And one viewer questioned: “Since when has there been big massive ice bergs and ponds in Yorkshire?”

Emmerdale enthusiasts were left scratching their heads over the peculiar choice of a limo company to offer a ‘no driver’ option, prompting one fan to question, “Why would a limo company offer the no driver package anyhow?!” Meanwhile, another quipped about the fate of the vehicle: “Did the limo die too?” A third viewer humorously pondered the challenge of explaining the events that led to the limo being stuck in the middle of an icy lake: “Imagine explaining what happened to the Limo to an insurance company, they’d never believe it…” However, not all feedback was critical; some fans were thoroughly entertained by the episode’s drama. One admirer compared the icy scenes to a blockbuster movie: “Emmerdale episode with the frozen lake giving Titanic vibes, no joke,” while another praised the show’s recent offerings: “That’s the best couple of episodes ever in soapland it felt like watching a film they all were fantastic each part played,” reports the Mirror.

One expressed their reaction with succinct enthusiasm: “Flippin ‘eck Emmerdale,” and another applauded the episode’s production: “Tonight’s episode of #emmerdale was a hard watch but brilliantly put together with that dramatic music – well done to all involved.” Roxy Shahidi, who plays Leyla, shared her excitement about the ambitious stunt, remarking: “Obviously, they’ve pulled out all the stops. I’m guessing a hell of a lot of money must have been spent, as it is a really epic stunt. I think it really will go down in Emmerdale history without a doubt.” She also reflected on the positive experience during filming, saying: “I think the thing that was most enjoyable for me was the camaraderie on set. It was such a fantastic, gorgeous group of girls that I was working with.” Roxy lavished praise on the atmosphere on set, describing it as: “It was just a really lovely atmosphere. So supported, so loving and we just had a fantastic time.”
